Zeewagen is a portmanteau word (a mixture) of our two last names. We’ve long used the teamzeewagen moniker when stomping fools in a hardcore game of scrabble or Pictionary. It would also be our Amazing Race name, natch.

Mine is laaame. I sorta froze when I got to that part of the registration and went with the junk email address we used to use. I call him Bear, always have. And I love(s) him. So there you go.

If a Buddhist was a roller derby girl, this would be her name. I might be the more passive of those two things 🙂

Cute thread! I love reading everyone’s usernames stories 🙂
Mine – I had a rocky mountain wedding, and fell in love with a ‘moose’ theme. I designed the moose with mountain behind avatar thing that you can see, and used it in all of our invitiations, menus, paper stuff… So Mrs Moose just fit!

Well for some reason my other account here would not let me in anymore and I could not fix it, so I had to get a new one.
I tried pumpkin, but it was taken.
I love pumpkin flavored stuff! Yay fall because you can get pumkin icecream, pumpkin cheesecake, and I made some great pumpkin bread a couple weeks ago.
and the numbers are when my Fiance and I started dating, so there it is!

I’m a Mrs. and I am crazy for marzipan – anything almondy actually! I’m always amazed that people don’t really love marzipan – It is so good with so many things, chocolate, apricot preserves, in layer cakes…mmmm 🙂

Mine is based on my name and nickname: E-Rye-Pye = E for my first name of Erin, Rye for my middle name of Ryan and Pye for my nickname since I was a baby ErinPye.

melissa, i was hoping that was the significance of your name since every time a see a post of yours “anna begins” gets stuck in my head!
as for my screen name…bella and margot are my pups 🙂 my real name is shanna (ryhmes with banana). shanna is mispronounced so often that i vow to give my kids the most simple names ever one day!

After reading some of the meanings behind a lot of your screen names, mine seems so lame. Anyway, here is my breakdown.
Bella – I just love the name, always have. It means ‘beautiful’ in Italian. If we ever decide to have children (and have a girl), her name will be Bella.
Luna – This is the second part to the name of my favorite restaraunt in Washington D.C. (technically it’s Arlington, VA but D.C. is the general area). The restaraunt is called ‘Faccia Luna.’ They have amazing pizza! It also means moon in Italian. Together with Bella, the entire screen name means ‘Beautiful Moon.’
So, that’s it! 🙂
P.S. No, I’m not Italian… at all. In fact between the 2 sides, my family is Polish/German/Irish. My Fiance has a large Italian family, so if we had children and named our daughter Bella, it’d be ok 🙂
