My fiance’s cousin registered for Dr. Pepper, zip-loc bags, asprin, etc. Her and her husband were both poor college students at the time, so I guess they needed those things!
I read on a wedding board someone asking if it would be okay to register for a portable breathalizer tester.
I’m sure people registere for all sorts of “out of the box” stuff… What “weird” things have you registered for? Or seen someone else register for?

ummm an antler cribbage game set from Cabelas, lots of tools for my fiance, and a wii with games lol. Most our our stuff is fairly typical (kitchen, bedding, etc.) but we really do love spending time together playing games and just enjoying each others company – so we did want to have some fun things on there!

We registered for a hammock on Amazon (just got it! yay!), sleeping pads for camping, and one of those indoor herb grower garden things.

We registered for the normal items for our engagement party because everyone was asking. But since our wedding is not for another 15 months, my Fiance wants to register at Lowe’s so he can get power tools and other such things for our home.

Neilson Massey vanilla bean paste. it is my secret ingredient and they sell it at sur la table. lol. it is a recipe changer!

I think Fiance really wants power tools because he is always fixing up something that has happened in the house, and there is no telling what else we will wind up registering for. It is going to be what we need the most. 🙂

We registered for a PS3. Other than that, we included mostly typical registry items in a range of prices, like new everyday dishes (mine are all chipped and cracked, he gets by with something like 2 bowls, a plate, a cup, and a single place setting, lol), linens, kitchen gadgets, etc. As for the PS3, playing games is one of our favorite things to do together- either co-op or 2-player, or just watching each other play. Doesn’t hurt to ask for something you really want, right?

we registered for for expensive furniture at Crate and Barrel. I know no one will buy it for us and they probably think we’re greedy for even having it on there, but we get 10% off if its on our registry. So I’m hoping we can afford it after this wedding is paid for!

Oh my gosh – a hammock!!! GENIUS. We have a lot of camping stuff on ours as well, but the hammock escaped my mind. Brilliant.
I LOVE that someone registered for a ballet barre 🙂 that makes me really happy!

Nothing yet but my lovely lad wants to place an ipad on the myregistry.com gift list. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything too crazy with our williams sonoma one but boy he’s very insistent about it. Not sure if he’s joking but I think he’s semi-serious. Would that be rude?
