A friend of mine from high school recently got married and they registered for everything – including TOILET PAPER and Paper Towels, hand soap, dish detergent, etc.  I told my mom we should wrap up a big thing of toilet paper for the gift 🙂

I registered for cleaning supplies!  Fancy organic ones, but still.  One of my bridesmaids got me all of them as a shower gift, and it was awesome.

I don’t think a big screen TV is so weird to have on there.  Sure it’s really expensive, but I don’t think it’s totally out of the question.  I’m going to be a bridesmaid on Saturday for a friend, and I tried to organize with the rest of the wedding party for us to chip in together to get them the TV on their registry.  It didn’t work out, but it could have.

@ccranetobe: Jar openers are a must! I have the hardest time opening jars and what is one to do if someone else isn’t in the house to help you open them? Man, those things are life savers!

Not exactly weird as it is obnoxious…but a $175 rolling pin.  Sorry, but….WHAT?!

Hehe these are great! I’m going to a wedding this weekend, where the couple registered at Target and BB&B. The Target one was almost all things like dish soap and laundry detergent, thought it was kinda weird. Weirder was that it was all purchased lol. My brother put frozen pizzas on his Target registry, which sounds awesome. Fi and I just registered at BB&B and they don’t sell food, darnit.

@jenbrandner: I was actually thinking about having Fiance register for an electric shaver as well. He really needs one! I’m just not sure if it’s tacky.

For ours- we have lots of weird stuff. We’re a new couple and are starting our first home (we both live with parents). E.g. Potato masher, a pizza wheel, a mountable paper towel holder (a nice one, lol), brita and replacement filters, a squeegee, a cheapy over the door ironing board, a sink caddy, etc.
