A Bridesmaid or Best Man puking in the bathroom and an usher puking in the men’s bathroom at the same time.

the bride saying “f* you, you’re ruining my wedding” to her stepmother (who was just defending the bride’s father after he was deliberately snubbed during the ceremony).

@amariem25: haha how did you witness these two events? They happened at the same time in different bathrooms and you were there for both? Impressive, young Jedi.

No seating chart, and a 30 minute wait outside the reception hall (mulitpuprose room at a church). During that time, people started swarming the glass doors and once they opened, people started to run in to save a table for their friends/family.

  • The DJ and photographer taking shots at the bar.
  • A groomsmen doing coke in the bathroom (SO told me this)
  • Bride and Groom having such a huge cake fight, they knock over the whole cake.
  • Someone complaining very loudly that there was no alcohol.
  • A server cussing someone out at the bridal table, dropping the food on the floor, flipped everyone off, and walked off the job. WOW!

This is definitely putting the whipped cream fight at our reception into perspective.  😉

I was at the wedding of one of my mom’s friends when I was young, and the bride was marrying a man who had a daughter older than she was. During the reception the groom’s son got up to do a speech and went on at length about how many years of therapy he’s had to have because of how horrible his childhood was, but was finally able to get up and say that he’s happy for his dad about the wedding. It was nuts!

The worst thing I’ve seen is the groom give a speech at the reception during which he outright insulted the bride. They were in their late 30’s and had been dating for over 10 years and apparently it took years of pressure by the bride and her parents for him to finally agree to marry her. He admitted to this in a half-joking way and went on to say how she was ugly as a child. It was really weird and inappropriate.

At one wedding we saw a DJ dress really casually and not act very professional, the photographer rudely telling people to get out of her way, nobody mentioning that the punch was spiked with champagne even though young children were drinking it (someone had to ask for this to be mentioned), and when the bride and groom left they told everyone to have a good time because they had reserved the venue until midnight (they left about 6 or 7pm) and after they were gone the bridal party ordered all the guests to help clean up and made everyone leave pretty much.

Runner up is a wedding where there was puke everywhere because about 10 people got sick. There was plenty of booze but no food from about 6 – 8:30pm. No one had eaten dinner beforehand since we all assumed it would be served at the wedding and worse yet everyone met at the bar before the ceremony to have a drink, so really it was about 4 hours of straight drinking on empty stomachs.

@mandb122: OMG Wow. Thats not just one thing you witnessed thats the whole wedding!!!

1- at a friends wedding the keyboard player got REALLY drunk and passed out over a railing and was farting in his sleep!! The parents of the groom had to escort him out of the hotel because he was so bad!

2 – at our wedding the DJ randomly gathered all the guests on the dance floor and proceeded to do a 10 minute choreographed break dance that he videotaped with his digital camera and was pulling my relatives onto the dance floor to try to have a dance off with them…..it was horrible but apparently some of our guests thought it was hilarious!!
