A Bride and Groom high on ectasy….ICK! (Talk about getting your life together before getting married….)

Oh and while on Vacation last year to Jamaica our travel agent came along with her 16 year old German exchange student because we got such a great discount. There was a wedding party staying at the same resort as us and the travel agent plus her student went to the grooms bachelor party, where the groom slept with the 16 year old!!!!!!!!! The next day at the reception I saw the bride dancing with this same girl!

I guess my post was a lil much….sorry ladies.

@elliestan….Of course my family does not condone this behavior in any way shape or form.  I used to be a Domestic Violence Faciliator and conducted Anger Management Groups for over 4 years.  So again, his behavior is NOT ok.  They have been together for about 14 years and they have a very disturbed and sick relationship…one that can start a thread all by itself.  She has done terrible things to him (slept with his friends…she is a drug addict and has to to get tested regulalry or she goes back to jail…has stolen & forged checks from his business acct totaling over $20K which the FBI got involved in…and much more)  He in turn has slept with her sister….hits her….berates her in front of people…etc..  BUT they are still together and neither will leave each other.  It is a sad sad situation but what can one do?  Nothing really…its been 14 years of crap and they still don’t learn.

Sorry didn’t mean to jump off the thread topic!

@JamaicaBride: It’s not just you, it was only the groom’s side really but the entire groom’s side.  And I don’t remember most of the ceremony because it was actually funny to see who would get hit next and was VERY distracting.

@neontl: omg I was just at a wedding like this too.  It was about 45 or 50 degrees outside and all of the guests were dressed up and waiting to be let into the reception hall.  but the owners of the reception hall wouldn’t let us in until the reserved time of 6:30 pm, even though the place was empty and completely ready for us!  We all had to stand outside freezing in the cold in our dresses and nice clothes.  the other guests were getting really antsy and some were complaining quite loudly.  super annoying and very pointless for the venue to do that.

I was at a wedding where a guest got into a fight with the groom and was kicked out.  He threatened to come back with a gun, and the DJ left due to workplace safety… so the party was pretty much over at that point.

I was in a friends wedding where near the end of the night, the DJ… sang two songs. He was… not good. The bride was pretty WTF at the time, but now it’s a funny story to share about the wedding.

The most awkward moment I’ve encountered is when the mother of the bride loudly and repeatedly apologized to me for her daughter’s “tacky, trashy wedding.” And her daughter, the bride, was standing right next to me. Yikes.

Wedding: Bridesmaid or Best Man puking in bathroom for 2 hours! But no one knew except her bf and other Bridesmaid or Best Man. but still!

About 15 years ago at a backyard wedding an older guest of the bride lost her footing on some steps. Sadly, the woman came crashign down on one of the banquet tables and got a pretty serious gash in her forehead. The bride was a wreck after that, the paramedics had to come, everyone stopped talking….so sad!

My Mother-In-Law went to a wedding where the bride stormed off the dance floor because the DJ forgot to put up the slideshow like she asked. I understand she was upset but my Mother-In-Law said it was like watching a temper tantrum.

Well while the BRIDE was throwing up in the bathroom (too many shots!?) the GROOM was flirting  with/grabbing at female guests.  I hope that is the first and last time I witness that.  They divorced a few months later.
