Yesterday I had a very heartfelt conversation with a family member who recently got married. She told me that her day went by in a flash and that she barely remembers it all because she was so nervous and it was such a blur. She told me to make sure that I cherish every moment of our wedding day because it goes by way too fast.
I kind of felt sad for her because she had put so much time, effort and energy into a day that went by in a flash. We put our hearts and souls into one day and then it’s just….over.
What would your advice be to a future bride?

@Legallyblondiebride: The wedding is just one day to prepare you for a lifetime of happiness with your husband.

Relax and try to take everything in even though that will probably be impossible! Atleast you’ll have pictures to show everything that happened!

Honestly, I’d say just to go with the flow, relax and realize that while you probably won’t remember a lot of it there will be things that stick with you (and for everything else, there are pictures – that’s why we hire such expensive photographers/videographers 😉

Relax, take it all in. Sit back and watch how all of your hard work paid off. I made sure to do this and I’m glad I did. I have no regrets of the wedding.
Oh ann MAKE SURE YOU EAT! You will be incredibly busy (i tried to make it to the bar 6 times but never did because someone always stopped me to talk). But eating is key. You want to feel nourished!
