I think you might have a typo b/c you’re “into the dress” time is the same as your ceremony time.  Here’s my schedule:

8-9 AM: Wake up & have breakfast w/ my sister in my hotel room

10 AM: Bridesmaids and hair dresser (a friend) arrive

!0AM – 3PM: Bridesmaids, flower girls, and I all get our hair done.  Hang out in the hotel room.  Laugh.  Drink some champagne.

3 PM: Do my makeup and get into my dress

4 PM: Ceremony (in the garden just outside the door from the hotel room where we’re all getting ready)

4:30-6 PM: Cocktail “hour” while the wedding party, groom, and I take pictures w/ our photographer

5:45 PM: Groom & I show up at the cocktail hour

6 PM:  We lead all of the wedding attendees down the hill to the tent for our reception

6-11 PM: Reception — speeches, dinner, cake cutting, dancing

11 PM: Back to the hotel room with my hubby for some “us” time, then bed 🙂

7:00 a.m. – Wake-up (my mom and I are staying the night together at the hotel where everyone is staying/getting ready)

7:30 a.m. – Hair/Make-up team arrive along with 7 Bridesmaids to hotel suite.

7:30-1:30 pm. – All the ladies get their hair and make-up done (a Champagne breakfast is being catered to the room (along with LOTS of coffee) for 8:30 a.m.)

1:30 p.m. – Trolley arrives to bring bridal party to Ceremony/Reception location

2:00 p.m. – Trolley brings the men to Ceremony/Reception location.

1:30-4:30 p.m. – Get in wedding dress, pictures with the girls, lunch is being catered to our bridal suite. (The guys will be doing the same thing except in the Grooms suite).

4:30 p.m. – Guests arrive

5:00 p.m. – Ceremony

5:30-6:45 p.m. – Cocktail hour for guests, pictures for bride/groom and wedding party.

6:45 p.m. – Wedding party announced, first dance, father/daughter and mother/son dance

7:00-10:30 – Reception!

8:30 p.m. – Scotch and Cigar bar to open for guests.

10:30 p.m. – Trolley to bring everyone back to hotel for an after-party!


It’s going to be a very very very long day! But hopefully tons of fun. We all have to be up early the next day as there is a “The celebration continues, drop in at your leisure for a champagne brunch” from 10:00-1:00 at my parents house 15 min away. Everyone invited to the wedding is also invited to the brunch.

The night before the wedding we are having a “Come and join the bride and groom for a drink” at a local pub from 7:00-9:00p.m. (the rehearsal is a luncheon the day before). It seems like the theme of the wedding is alcohol, but I promise it isn’t!
