My SO can be moody sometimes, as we all can. When he gets moody, he doesn’t answer calls or texts or if he does he is gruff and barely responds. Ususally he is moody about work or school stuff but I always think I’ve done something to make him mad becasue he waits until he has “cooled off” totalk about it. Sometimes he is moody for a few days on end and I might not hear much from him. He’s moving in this weekend though, so I expect that the “radio silence” will happen less frequently since I’ll see him everyday at home, whether he feels like talking or not. This doesn’t happen very often, once every few months or so.

I feel bad even saying this, because I LOVE my husband so much, and there isn’t much that he does that really bugs me at all!  Yeah, he leaves his underroos in a huge pile on the bathroom floor, but that doesn’t bother me in the least!  The one little thing that does bother me….

…he plays video games.  Now, let me make it VERY clear that I don’t mind him actually PLAYING the video games.  It is when he is calling for me to “Watch this!!”  “Look at this, hun!!” “Oh my God…did you SEE THAT?!?!?  AAAARRRGGHHH, you weren’t looking, baby!!!”  No, honey.  I wasn’t looking.  I was in the same room, but doing my own thing (reading, crafting, cleaning, etc).  Please don’t get mad…but…watching someone else play a video game is JUST ABOUT as much fun as watching someone else eat a cookie.  I’m glad you are getting enjoyment out of it, really,  It doesn’t mean that I will get that same enjoyment.

@LadyInGreen:  “Oh, and he destroys my bathroom once a day.  I love him, but after he’s in there 20 minutes, I’m afraid that someone in my neighborhood will light a match and BOOM!” -haha this made me lol!

Fiance likes to bite his nails a lot! I should be used to it because my dad does just the same, but I make him stop every time! Ha but I peel my lips a lot so when I tell him to stop he tells me that I dont stop peeling my lips so to leave him alone :p Oh and we dont live together but I’ve seen his bedroom before, lets just say you cant walk in there because there is piles of clothes and other mess everywhere! I already told him that I am not allowing that when we get married! 😉

He has decided that doing EVERYTHING (and I mean everything) in front of me is now perfectly acceptable since we’re now engaged.

Oh, and he’s decided he won’t hold back any of his true ‘feelings’ about ‘situations’.

Sigh. 😛

The way he starts a zillion projects to do with finishing the house (the house is in itself a zillion unfinished projects, basically) and takes several years to finish each one!! Argh!

And the way he will NEVER THROW AWAY OLD SOCKS!!!!! Even ones with huge holes that his heels and most of the back half of his foot sticks out of! The only thing that will make him throw away an old sock is if it has a major toe hole, which he can’t stand. He’s the same way with t-shirts– has 2 hard-packed drawerfulls of them and picks up new ones all the time, from sporting events he goes to and from people he works with who want to give away their company t-shirts. . . and he NEVER throws the old ones away! So weird. . .

BUT I love him very much so I put up with it! 🙂

Fiance is the neat one in the relationship… I can be pretty absent-minded about cleaning sometimes!

Peeves:

1) our deal is he cooks/i do dishes. he makes great food and HUGE messes while doing it! AND he doesn’t wash the in-between-meal dishes he uses but stacks them for me.

2) He is an impatient/critical driver and passenger. HE IS NOT THIS WAY OUTSIDE OF A CAR. I don’t get it, but I no longer let him ride with me if I can help it, I let him drive, and try to keep him calm when I’m the passenger.

3) I like that he is environmentally conscious, but when he follows me around turning lights off before I’m done working in one or two rooms I get pretty annoyed! Same with asking me why I’m running the water so long when I’m waiting for it to get hot so I can wash my face!

But, I love him! And these are my only gripes so I think I’m pretty lucky!

M Fiance has restless leg syndrome and he’s always shaking his legs. When we’re sitting on the same couch or laying in bed, he’ll shake so much that I have to hold his leg to get him to stop. He stops for a little while and then goes right on shaking. I swear, after a while I feel like I’m shaking even after he’s stopped.

The only other thing I can think of is that he bites his nails.

@PilotsGirl56:  My Fiance does the same thing! And he’s absolutely incapable of folding even when he tries… I planned on having him washing all our laundry and me folding and putting away…  That turned out to be a fail. I realized he doesn’t sort any laundry so i’m waiting for something to turn pink. lol and when he bleaches his whites he’ll just pour straight bleach on the clothes and WAY too much at that. Thats a no no in my book! HOW do we go through a gallon of bleach a month when he only does one batch of whites a week. Ay!

I’ve given up he just does his laundry and i do mine… then when i need the dryer i’ll just pull out his laundry and leave it on the bed (so its in his way) and let him put it away. Sometimes i’ll be nice and fold it for him. But partially because i can’t stand the way he folds… its more like a roll… lol

Let’s see.  I don’t like it when he drinks out of a carton of milk or juice and puts it back in the fridge.  Yuck!

Sometimes I wonder how I’m going to go the rest of my life watching him mouth breath in his sleep!

He also calls a #2 a ‘boom boom’ – what are you 4??? Hate it!

My Fiance never puts his laundry away. It just sits clean in baskets.

He also try’s to put his leg on my legs or torso when we are sleeping. I’ll wake up hot and trapped because I think his leg is half my body weight. Lol

But probably the one thing that drives me nuts the most… He re-does everything I do.. I vacuumed yesterday, he vacuumed today because there is still crumbs. I turn the BBQ off… He goes and double checks it. I wipe the counter.. 10 seconds later he re wipes the counter. I don’t know why I even bother some days!

Oh man, my Fiance has a VERY strong personality. You either HATE him or you LOVE him. He is one of those people that just says whatever and deals with the consequences later. He’s not hurtful or anything but def annoying at times!

He likes to fix everything. Even when I just want to vent, he always has a strategic plan for me to put into action so that I never have to deal with said situation again. JUST LISTEN TO ME HONEY! (I guess this is not really a bad thing per se, but sometimes I don’t want him to fix it, I just want a shoulder to cry on)

He also can go WEEKS without a hair cut or shaving and when/if I say something about it, his feelings get all hurt. So in order to avoid that I have to cuddle up with a freakin grizzly bear for a week…ahhh!

He has a comeback for EVERYTHING! I use to think it was cute/witty..now I just wanna scream. THe guy does not believe in NOT getting the last word.

That man is lucky I love him lol.

The way he chews sounds really slimy. I can’t tell if it’s him or me (probably me), but I don’t notice it on anyone else. Also, he takes his socks off and “tucks” them into places, like around the mattress.

Also, he always calls me (I don’t like talking on the phone because I lose the ability to do anything else) and then he says NOTHING! Nothing at all! We just sit there saying nothing until I hang up. I’m always annoyed at the end.
