I only consider it splurging if I pay full price!
I did just buy my very first new car in june and I considered that a splurge, even though we got an amazing deal because Fiance is very close with the owner of the dealership.
I will spend a lot on quality food, skincare product, and pretty much anything that goes into my body or on my skin because I think I’ll save money in the long run if I treat my body well and limit the amount of nasty chemicals that goes into it.
As far as clothes, shoes and bags I prefer quality over quantity and I’ll spend money on nice jeans and tops and I pretty much only buy well made leather shoes, and I have a serious addiction to rebecca minkoff bags. I will also splurge on bras, but that’s more because it’s nearly impossible to find bras my size for less than $60.
In my defense I buy pretty much everything on sale and I do buy all my underwear and t-shirts and other things that need regular replacement at walmart or target. I also do my own hair and nails, and waxing. I went to cosmetology school so I see no reason to pay someone else to do something I can do perfectly well myself! Also because of that I can shop at the local salon supply store so I can get essi and opi nail polish for like $3 a bottle and salon shampoo and products for less than 1/2 retail, so that saves me a lot!

Shoes. I am MAJOR bargain hunter in regards to clothes, accessories, and pretty much everything else. I buy clothes from Target, and the mall on sale, and am great at finding bargains online at more expensive retailers. However, I have a women’s size 4 shoe size, and I have wide feet. I spent WAY too many years wearing shoes that were both too narrow and too long for my feet, getting blisters, and enduring aching feet. If I can find it in my size, it is cute, comfortable, and under $150, it’s MINE.
Also, I have recently decided that I would rather spend more $$ on a few basic high quality makeup sets than keep buying cheap cosmetics that I never wear. I rarely buy new makeup, but when I do I splurge.

Oh, and I guess I have to add bras… because NOTHING in my size is ever on sale. So, I often pay full price, $50-80. However, VS recently started carrying my size (though their fit is a little off compared to other brands) so if I have a $10 off a bra card I might get an “ok” bra for $30.

Vacations: my husband and I love to travel and explore new places. And we prefer to fly first class and stay in 4 and 5 star hotels (but we do shop around for deals).
Food: We love great food, dessert, and wine, and will easily drop over $250 on dinner for just the two of us.
Season Tickets for our favorite professional ice hockey team: And all the events, jerseys, gear, accessories, etc. We even follow the team to an out-of-town game a couple of times per season.
Workout/yoga wear and shoes: I’m very active and I like to know that I’ll be comfortable running 6 miles whether the temperature is 50 degrees or 80 degrees.
Semi-splurge: Laura Mercier makeup for my sensitive skin; La Mer moisturizer; perfume (Coach, Marc Jacobs, Issey Miyake, Jo Malone, Bvlgari);
Upcoming splurge: our future house will be pricey. We need a bigger place but want to stay in our area (which is very pricey). Oh well.

Comfortable heels. I have really picky feet and won’t tolerate being uncomfortable! My wedding shoes were $200 Although I bought them several years ago, I wouldn’t pay that much now.

Lasik surgery, which Fiance had to convince me to get. I’m extremely happy with it now, but it was hard to bite the bullet at the time. I an am a pretty extreme saver in all other aspects of life…except when it come to Fiance 🙂

For me it’s travel, concerts/festivals, and eating and drinking out (splurging the most while traveling).
My clothes are generally all second hand, I actually prefer it that way. Handbags and boots are generally second hand too. And I DO really care what I wear!

Italian shoes and French handbags. Not cheap.

Ugh my answer is everything…
We had to get an expensive dog (french bulldog), I have to get the new 2014 Cadillac SRX and my fiance has to get a new 2014 Lexus as well, we only wear designer clothes, I only use designer bags (and I don’t mean Coach! lol), and cosmetics, I compulsively buy (and quickly break) designer sunglasses which is an expensive hobby…I had to have a 3 carat diamond, we have to stay at “good” resorts and hotels, its rather disgusting when you sit back and think about it.
The one thing I don’t splurge on? Flip flops. They’re all from old navy. Ridiculous.

Can you call $15 shirts from TJMaxx purchased bi-weekly a splurge?

Flowers are a splurge for me. Another one is makeup, I have sensitive skin so I buy higher end products.

Probably makeup, I buy hardly any, but when I do I usually buy quite good brands.
Also, my computer. My fiance and I built my pc and bought a ridiculously good graphics card and processer. Altogether it was about a grand. It makes videogames look amazing! Worth it!

We splurged on our condo! This is where my Fiance’ proposed, where it feels like we are on vacation everyday and where we’ve spent many nights together with a bottle of wine on our deck 🙂
