Our budget is approximately $6k for 150 people, but my parents just let us know that they were paying for our honeymoon (to a surprise location!) as their wedding gift to us. Eases the burden a little, but it means we’re ordering a TON of things from e-bay and other discount sites.

I’m almost embarrassed to admit my teeny budget.  My Fiance and I are paying for everything ourselves and are trying for a 5k budget including honeymoon, but not including rings.  Oh, and we’re expecting about 50 people (give or take a little).

Technically? No budget…because my mom refuses to talk about money. Ever.

I’m thinking it’s going to end up being around 8-10K for about 125 guests. Hopefully it will be less though.

Probably about $10,000 for 200 people… my parents are paying, and I’m trying to make it a lot cheaper than that! I love the challenge of getting the best deal, and I think my mom does too. All I have to say is… it takes a TON of work sometimes, but I’m getting married in a beautiful, unexpected location with an inexpensive dress (but still my dream dress!), tons of flowers and lots of guests and good food!

Also, I am DIYing a LOT.

Our budget is around $5K for about 120 guests (140 invited). I haven’t had a terrible time staying on budget because we are doing a lot of the work ourselves. The worst part has been sticking to out $2K honeymoon budget!! lol

My budget was 10-11k and I ended spending 14K for 130 people.  One piece of advice, make sure you  keep track of what you spend.  I didn’t and I went over.  Oops.  If only, I did, I would have proably made my budget.

I don’t have a budget.  It’s more taking each thing on an individual basis and if my Dad thinks that the price is reasonable.  Right now, we are at about $80K for approx 150 people.  This doesn’t include rings and honeymoon, which we are paying for ourselves.  Those which we have already paid for come to $25K.

Man I thought i was spending a lot, but I guess I’ve been very frugal! We’re having about 120ppl..
$3200 for ceremony and reception venue and full dinner (AND they’re including table linens and some decor-and they’re doing all the set up and take down)
$525 for DJ
$800 for photographer (an amazing pro, but a friend so we got a deal)
$200 for flowers (natural touch and silk flowers)
$500 for cakes
Under 6k so far! 🙂
Those are all of our major expenses.. our rings are already paid for and Father-In-Law is paying for our honeymoon. And I got my Jessica McClintocks dress for $99 in San Francisco!

We started out at $20k for 200, but it looks like it will be closer to $25k-27k.  This does not include Honeymoon or rings.

My budget is $42k with some wiggle room, this is not including rings or the honeymoon Wink  I am very lucky that my parents are paying for our wedding and FH parents are paying for the rehearsal as well as half the honeymoon. We have very traditional Jewish families and we are so thankful for their support.  My sisters wedding was $35k, 17 years ago so my dad told me I have some wiggle room as he knows wedding costs are a bit different these days than they were 17 years ago, lol!!!  We are hoping to have 100-120 guests. We don’t know the final count – the total invited count is 147.

our budget is around $30k… 175-200 ppl

our parents are helping us, but we are paying for about 50% of the wedding.

his parents: photog (2700), cake (500), rehearsal (1500), flowers (2000)

my parents: bulk of the reception (9000), my dress (1000), church offering (300) – we’re getting married at my church so we don’t have a ceremony fee, but it’s understood that you give a bigger offering.

Fiance and I: honeymoon (6000), reception (6000)

—-$27,700 up to this point

and the rest going to odds and ends like gifts, hair, invites(DIY), accessories.

Thankfully Fiance has my e-ring/band all paid off… I just need to get his band…

at the end of it all, i think we’ll be right under 35K after EVERYTHING (tips, unexpected costs, etc.)

We’re hoping to keep it under $15,000 for everything for 250 invited guests (we’re estimating 200 will come) but our reception alone is about $9,000 so I don’t know if we’re going to stay under budget.
