We are spending way too much on our wedding ceremony. The ceremony alone was only to be $10k but now we are well over budget.

Catering! I was trying to do casual BBQ food, and my mom flipped out so I found the best caterer in the area and we’re having steak and salmon, lol – literally five times the price of the BBQ catering.

@Ellegee:  we’re doing bbq and it’s still our budget buster haha. It’s not from a bbq joint though, it’s from our venue’s required caterer. They have some of the best food I’ve EVER had

Venue/food/bar, all together, are roughly half of our entire budget.

Food/Wine for sure for us. Although the alcohol will probably be the same price as photography, to me the price we are paying for the wine (being that we have to use the winery’s wines) is insane. The photography is average.
