So yeah, what the title says: What is your typical cardio routine? I’m talking stuff you do at least once a week…
Me, I always run 2-4 miles on the treadmill. On days where I do less distance, I’ll add in the bike or rowing machine, unless I’m feeling lazy 😉 Plus weight training about 70% of the time.

I try to run at least three or four days a week. I’m training to run a marathon in September. I have never really felt that doing the elliptical ever really did anything for me. I just feel like you aren’t working out that hard on it. I always see people on it talking on the phone and it kills me! lol
I’ve also done p90x before. That is really intense!

I haven’t exercised in a bit due to severely injuring my ankle and my asthma acting up, back to back (sill no 100%). When I do exercise, I use P90x, which has several different means of cardio.

I really enjoy mixing it up. I do nautalis fitness machines instead of free weights for strength training, I like to do the 30 day shred (lots of cardio!), pilates, running, yoga booty ballet, cardio jam, etc

I meet some girlfriends and we go to Zumba classes!

Karate : 2x
running 6-9 km : 2x
latin dance: 1x
Once I’m done with my race, I’ll do more biking and less running. I’m about to start going to work with my bike also (45 minutes each way).
Hubs does all this with me, having a partner really helps me out, especially on days that I feel lazy..

haha, I forgot about aerobics! I was doing the 30 day shred for a while, but I started to feel guilty about doing it in an apartment. I was afraid I was disturbing my downstairs neighbors…

i do the 30 day shred, and i’m trying to start “running” ( right now its walking / jogging, but i’m slowly being able to run longer than 2 minutes! ha!)

I run 2-3 times/week (trying to run more now that the weather is improving–I don’t have a treadmill so it’s all outside) and am ostensibly training for a half in September but haven’t bit the bullet and registered yet. I also box about 3-4x/week and do workout videos–30 day shred most often, but sometimes tae bo and I just got burn fat, boost metabolism (another Jillian DVD) from Netflix. And I walk quickly carrying heavy things; does that count? I tend to count it, especially when there are many stairs involved!

I run, and I also count riding as cardio! Anyone who’s posted the trot for fifteen minutes straight or ridden in two-point (or, heck, just without stirrups) can attest to that. 😉

theeekingeek, they have Zumba at my gym and I want to try it! I’m scared though, it looks like a lot of footwork and I’m not good at that!
I do 2 minutes fast walk, 3 minutes running for 20 minutes on the treadmill, 30 minutes on the elliptical (+weights).

I run probably 4 times a week most weeks, with my weekday runs being about 4 miles and my weekend runs being anywhere between 8 and 21, depending on what I’m training for. I feel like this keeps my metabolism pretty ramped – I’d still like to firm up more although I hate weight lifting :/ Maybe more yoga (2-3 times a week up from my once a week) will help.

Monday, long run (up to almost 4 miles).
Wednesday, spinning class (will switch to outdoor rides after the wedding hopefully!)
Friday or Saturday, shorter run (2-3 miles).
I also take a 1 hr weight lifting class on Tues/Thurs/sometimes Saturday.

I ‘run’ three times/week. I put that in quotes bc its really walking/jogging. I’m working up to just jogging haha. I’ve done a lot of different workouts in my life but nothing changed my body as fast as starting running.

I walk my dog everyday, does that count? It’s not as strenuous as the running and soccer playing I used to do, but so far its been as rewarding for me to have my puppy out with me.
