headoverboots :  Depends if you are using silk/fake flowers or real.

I personally didn’t want real flowers and couldn’t imagine spending over $300ish on flowers. My invite list is 225 (roughly 22 round tables if all guests RSVP yes, which isn’t likely)….and includes 5 bouquets including my own, and about 18 boutonnieres (I made extras just in case) for bridal party, parents/grandparents, readers, etc. and centerpieces (a single calla lily submerged in water). I have the bouquets and boutonnieres done. I have flowers for the centerpieces already, but have to put them together.

I got a lot of the flowers and supplies (ribbons, bouquet wraps) on sale at Hobby Lobby and the calla lilies for centerpieces on amazon. I spent a total of $125 (rounding it up) on flowers. They are beauitful and I’m quite satisfied.

headoverboots :  These are what I have….the girls bouquets are two bunches of red hydrangeas, mine is white calla lilies and red hydrangeas. The guys boutonnieres are a single red rose, and my FH’s is a calla lily and red rose. The centerpieces will be a single white calla lily or red calla lily (each table will have one or the other).

How many tables are there? We are doing $300 for 5 centrepieces and the sweetheart table. My bouquet, my bridesmaid and Maid/Matron of Honor bouquet will be made into the centrepieces as well to save money. My bouquet will be made by a florist for $170.

I would contact a local florist and tell them what you want for flowers and what kind for DIY you will be doing (arch, bouquets, centrepieces). They will send you a quote for how much it would be and/or tell them a budget you are okay with working with. If you use seasonal flowers as well that will save you a lot of money too.

That’s our budget for real flowers for a 150 person wedding with a flower arch. So yeah, I wouldn’t spend that on flowers I have to DIY.

I live in LA and spent 300 for our engagement party (100 people – flowers were roses and peonies). I’ll probably spend around 1500 for the wedding which will have 200-250 people. I’m planning to make big tall centerpieces. My prices might be low because I can buy flowers from the LA flower market.

My budget was low around 800$, I found someone to do everything I wanted for $900. In season flowers, more of a greenery garland around my centerpiece. 3 blooms for bridesmaids.

I also refuse to pay for flowers for anyone outside the bridal party. Mom’s don’t need flowers, I hate boutonnières. So cutting those helped.

We have 90 guests and 10 tables with 4 other arrangements, 5 Groomsmen & 5 BMs, 3 extra bouts, a toss bouquet, small bouquets for the mothers and my grandmother, and we estimate about 70 extra roses for something!

We got all of our flowers for around $1,000 and spent a bit more than $500 with the vases and supplies! And we ordered a load of flowers just incase! 500 roses from Globalrose, 200 hydrangeas and some greens from Sam’s Club, 24 garden roses from Fiftyflowers, and the supplies mainly from wholesaleflowersandsupplies. Our wedding is not until the 10th and I am getting the flowers on the 7th so I can always update!
