we are serving fried chicken, ham, pasta salad and baked beans. Veggie trys, fruit trays water iced tea and pop. It nothing fancy at all but it works for our budget. It is eraly in the day at 3pm, so I know pwople will leve and go to dinner, but hubby just had to have food. I wantred to do a cake and champagne reception.

since your wedding is in november maybe a ham or turkey or both! get your mom and mother in law to make one or the other.. stuffing all those yummy sides! oh and you could always do things like chocolated covered strawberries, different pies/cakes, you could have one table with nothing but fruit with fruit dip, ect.

I would do turkey, stuffing, gravy, dinner rolls, mixed veggies.  Think Thanksgiving!  Mmmm…simple and good for that time of year ๐Ÿ™‚

ooooh how about tuscan chicken. FH makes it for me all the time. It is served over pasta but isn’t a red sauce. I also LOVE pecan encrusted or parmesan encrusted chicken. Or how about chicken cordenblue [Wait maybe you keep kosher. If so I didn’t mean to offend ๐Ÿ™‚ ]   I love chicken! I have a whole wedding binder filled with over 5000 different wedding menues for every price point so let me know how tight money is and I will start digging and might be able to help you out ๐Ÿ™‚
