Our cake was beyond…I’m getting a tear in my eye just thinking about it. We had 4 tiers — all chocolate cake, each layer had 4 layers of filling, 2 tiers had salted caramel filling alternating with cocoa-flavored Italian meringue buttercream and the other 2 had fresh strawberry cream filling alternating with chocolate fudge filling. The outside was plain Italian meringue buttercream.

We had strawberry with buttercream frosting, lemon with this glaze, vanilla and chocolate. My sister had cake with one layer of vanilla, raspberry filling and chocolate all in a slice. It was amazing!! I have also had some seriously amazing peanut butter cake.

Absofruitly love: Almond cake & vanilla bean frosting or marzipan, a rich chocolate & chocolate or chocolate & caramel, peanut butter anything, pumpkin spice cake & vanilla maple or honey pecan frosting, Nutella, coffee & chocolate, Vanilla bean cake with lavender frosting, tres leches cake (not really a wedding cake, but it’s super yummy), cinnamon vanilla with carmelized bartlett pear filling
I’ll usually pass on: carrot or zuchini cake, anything with cream cheese frosting, anything orange flavored, and stupid red velvet cake (Red isn’t a flavor! It’s just artificially dyed chocolate… with cream cheese frosting. Not my cup of tea)

I love lemon flavoured cake the best!
For our wedding we had two tiers made of rose water and chocolate fudge and vanilla buttercream frosting. It was delicious.

Our cupcakes, though? Vailla buttercream, peach cobbler, and snickerdoodle!
