I’m Jewish, but I love Christmas music and all the house decorations. My favorite are houses with candles in the windows and other understated decorations. It’s such a beautiful time of year, everyone can enjoy it.
That said, I have a window of being able to enjoy Christmas music and it definitely hasn’t opened up yet!

@izziebear: That is such a neat tradition to sprinkle oats and glitter on the lawn to attract reindeer! I will have to suggest that one to my sister for my neice and nephew!
@jindc: I used to date a guy who was Jewish and he enjoyed the Christmas celebrations with my family also. His family used to have their own traditions such as hiding the presents around the house instead of having a tree. Is that a Jewish tradition?

@tksjewelry: I love Holiday Inn!! It reminds me of my Grandpa, I used to watch it with him. I never heard of anyone else who watched it.
I love Elf and Christmas Vacation…I am cracking up reading the quotes from the movie! Last year I watched it with my family during a snowstorm and it was really nice.
I also LOVE Christmas music and have already started listening to my Pandora station. I don’t know if I can pick a favorite Christmas song. I do love the Jessica Simpson Christmas CD.

My favorite tradition was always this: My parents would leave a small present outside of the front door (usually slippers, pajamas or something) and my dad would ring the doorbell. They’d come upstairs and say “The elves have come by to leave you a present!” and we would run down, open the door and find whatever it is they left. They still do it for us (we go over for christmas eve dinner) and the elves even left something for my fiance last year 🙂

Also, this year Darling Husband and I are making gingerbreadmen and rock cornish game hens on Christmas eve and going to midnight mass! I can’t wait!

@samsonite44: I love that song too!
My mom also has a great tradition that once all the presents are opened that are under the tree, there’s always one more extra one for each person!
