I love daffodils and daisies. And seems to me daffodils never make appearances at weddings…maybe they wilt fast? I’m clueless for flowers too.

I also really like tulips and carnations.

Oh my gosh — I just fell in love with this bouquet that I think I found on the knot. Somehow I’m sure I don’t stand a chance of finding it but thought this was the most unique bouquet. I found out the flower is "pink cone ginger". Its just so different. (I heightened the color for my board.)

I love the look of white roses & white hydrangeas with berries as fillers!! Both types of flowers are available year round. Peonies are my favorite flowers though & I’m going to blow my budget on them next year! They are only available in May/June & they don’t last very long 🙁

This isn’t a bouquet, but you can get the idea…

This one is my current favorite. I lean toward the neutral/monochromatic, light colored bouquets. I can’t identify all the flowers but I think it has roses, maybe a peony or two, hydrangeas, and sweet peas, among others.

Oh I have so many!

Like many brides, I would LOVE to have peonies. I’m planning on blowing my flower budget also to have them in my bouquet:

Peony

But I also love Garden Roses, which are very similar:

I LOVE gerbera daisies….my BMs’ bouquets are going to be pink gerberas and my bouquet is going to be a mix of white and pink gerberas.  So things don’t get too matchy matchy…the guys bouts are going to be these really cool green orchids we found, although FI’s will be a white orchid to match me.  Our colors are green and pink.  Very excited about our flowers! 🙂

I really want a Princess Lasertron bouquet, but since I’m having a May wedding I’m considering tulips, because they’re my favourite flower and I’ll actually be able to have them.  Dilemma Dilemma.

I ADORE anemones but alas, they are very expensive and just out of season for my wedding…I think I’m going to use daisies and yellow rununculus (sp?) instead…

I really wish parrot tulips were in season for my wedding.  I love the white ones with red stripes.  Some of them even have ruffled tips.  Sigh.

At the end of September I have a chance at anemones.

Otherwise at least I can take advantage of some beautiful dahlias being in season, along with the “standard” year round roses, orchids and the like.

I’m a Calla Lilly Girl!

I think that they are very elegant and simple – I am going to get a small mini calla lilly bouquet in pink!

I’ve gone through some different floral obsessions over the last few months… first was Peonies, now I’m onto Garden Roses.. and I really wanted anemones or ranunculus for the bridesmaids but I don’t know if that will work. Sigh…
