@Excited To Bee:  Lately I’ve been making hummus 1-2x/ week to take for lunch.

i also got on the frozen banana icecream bandwagon.

i’ll also occasionally do a pesto/chimmichurri in there. 🙂

We haven’t registered yet (I don’t even know when it’s appropriate to – gotta look that up!) but I’d really like some nicer pots and pans and a set of every day dishes that is ours instead of mine.

A new blender, (how 1970s wedding gift stereotypical of me!  haha) too…mine is over 10 years old and doesn’t blend very well these days.

My favorite thing is this huge, heavy, beautifully made wood cutting board. I only use it for vegetables, rinse it with water, and I’m constantly rubbing mineral oil on it to keep it beautiful.

Actually, I change my mind (haha).  I’m most excited about the iron I want (I sew, and this one produces mega steam!!!  :P).

I have received a food processor as a wedding gift from my aunt. I liked the gift very much as I am in need of this I had included this in my bridal registry. I felt so happy when I saw that most of the gifts which I received are from my registry. I had created the registry from our wishing well.

Definitely our plates. We’re not china people (but if we were, I definitely would’ve pushed for the Kate Spade polka dot set), so we registered for new dishes that can be our every-day dishes, but are nice enough to look gorgeous at a dinner party if we had one. We’ve already gotten a few sets, so I’m even more excited:

@MissCountryGirl727:  Could they be surprising you?

YoUr cookout sounds like an opportunity to bring something. I sure would bring a gift!

Mine is the set of Lagostina pots we registered for.  Every time I go to the mall I go to the store and “visit” them… they have really nice handles and are really heavy and solid.  I cant wait to start using them!

@Coral99:  Maybe? But with how crazy my schedule has been lately, I’m not really sure how they’d surprise me. LOL

Since I posted up here last, Fiance and I have put an offer on a house and we are now under contract awaiting closing.  I’ve been running around like a crazy person trying to do wedding stuff and handle taking care of all the paperwork to buy a house! LOL
