socalgirl1689 :  haha. I’m the child of Italian parents and I actually have a cousin who was born in Italy and hates pasta. They’ve been like that since they were a kid. Whenever this fact gets discovered at some Italian get together it always seems to play out like that scene from ‘my big fat Greek wedding’ where everyone stops in horrified silence because Ian doesn’t eat meat because he’s a vegetarian. In my cousins case its even worse because it’s pasta and not liking pasta as an Italian is akin to committing a cardinal sin!! 😂

socalgirl1689 :  OMG I love this thread. My guilty pleasure food is a big plate of chili cheese fries from my favorite hole-in-the-wall mexican joint. I will get take-out and eat them at home while watching Seinfeld.

Spaghetti with bacon in tomato sauce is my all time favorite go to binge/comfort food.

Reese’s peanut butter eggs or Christmas trees (depending on the season, lol). They’re superior to cups in every way.

Flamin’ Hot Cheeeeetos alll day

Salt & Vinegar potato chips

…

Today I ate braised kale for lunch and now I feel dead inside.

Ruffles All Dressed chips. I can kill a bag (and sometimes do) in one sitting. You Americans are missing out.

Most fried foods, but especially French fries, I just love them so much! Cheese and crackers is another good one, as well as chocolate and candy. A specific one is that I’ll get the frozen spinch and artichoke dip from Trader Joe’s and eat the whole thing by myself. Usually with tortilla chips, but if I have the ends from a loaf of sourdough bread leftover or something it’s even better.

slomotion :  yaassss deep fried pickles are the best thing to ever happen to food!

My pig out food is anything with cheese. Poutine!! Cheddar on some crackers, AMERICAN mac n’ cheese (I don’t know what it is about the Mac n’ cheese in the states… must have some secret ingredient cause I’ve tried Mac n’ cheese at so many restaurants in Canada and nothing even comes close!)…. Brie cheese on a baguette… my mouth is watering.

and basically any salty snacks.. pickles, olives, pepperettes. YUM!
