Do you have a Trader Joe’s that sells wine near you?  If so, they have a ton of wines in that price range.  I like a lot of the italian ones and there’s a couple cotes de rhone that are tasty.

I didn’t see any Sauvignon Blancs in your poll??  I am kinda picky about wine and this variety is absoluletly my favorite.  Often citrusy and dry, the best ones are from Chile and New Zealand, but even the Barefoot brand of it is good.

I know I sound like a wine know-it-all and I swear I’m not.  I discovered this variety and region about 5 years ago and have stuck with it.  I know nothing about any other wine.

I like Trapiche Malbec, it’s usually around $9/bottle.

For parties, my family usually does Yellowtail or Barefoot, since they’re decent and cheap- by us the big yellowtail bottles are $11 and the barefoot ones are $10. Although for a weddin gmaybe you don’t want to buy teh jumbo sizes haha. We usually opt for Chardonnay as our go-to white, and Shiraz or Merlot as the go-to red.

I don’t know any brands in that price range, sorry 🙁 But I can tell you in general I love reisling, moscato, and red zin… but those are all on the sweeter side so I’m just totally unhelpful I guess!

okay to please everyone I’d choose a pinot grigio and a cabernet.  Most people dont like sweet wines (hey I do but still).  With those 2 everyone will be able to enjoy something – even if it’s not their favorite.  I wouldn’t stress heavily on brand – whatever you can afford will be fine!

Ice Wine is a dessert wine and from what I know generally VERY sweet and quite expensive. I’m not sure you can find them in the $4-$6 range?

I know YellowTail is generally cheaper is it in that range? I personally don’t like it but people seem to.

My ILs are dry fans and tend to lean towards Pinot Noirs, Cabernets and Merlots.

I personally love White Zin, but it is on the sweeter side.  It might be a good middle ground between sweet/not sweet, and it’s on the cheaper side.  It usually what I order when we go out because it’s the cheapest.  I do enjoy chardonnays too.  They’re darker and not as sweet, but I don’t know too much about price ranges because we hardly ever buy it.

I would pick a not sweet red, sorta sweet blush, and a sweet, and that would cover everone!
