I still love princess cut, but when we went shopping I didn’t like how it looked on my hand. I prefer round over princess for myself now, although I should have probably tried on cushion just to see a nice comparison because that might have worked. I didn’t even consider marquis or pear, they’re just not for me.

Pear is my favorite, followed by OEC and vintage cushion cuts.
Heart shapes are generally my least favorite to see, but I’ve seen heart shapes used as side stones in 3 stone rings that looked fantastic.

Pear is my Favorite! I love how it looks in a nice setting.
I think Cushion is my least favorite.. idk what it is but they just don’t look “Special” to me.

I have an oval that I love but I think my favorite shape is an elongated modified (crushed ice) cushion cut!
princess and marquise are tied for my least favorite

I love pear shaped diamonds!! Hence I chose the pear shape for my e ring. I didn’t even think about fancy shapes initially until I tried a pear shape at Tiffany’s one time just for fun and it blew my mind away! That’s how my life for pears began. As for my least favorite I think I have to go with the princess. But then again, I’m a huge sucker for diamonds so I like them all! 😛

I love emerald & round- can’t decide between the two but my ring is round
my least favorite is marquise & princess.

My favorite is oval. I like the elongated finger coverage and that it doesn’t have any corners. I don’t like any of the swuare ones with sharp corners or the shape of a marquise.

asscher is my favorite by miles. unfortunately they are sort of a pain in the ass. asschers face up SO small comparatively. the beauty of the cut requires a fairly substantial carat weight and step cuts are notorious for being unforgiving in terms of clarity.
i really dislike marquise.

I have a round because it fit best in the cushion halo that I love, but I adore radiants!!

Rounds and ovals are my two favorites. I also really like Asschers, but decided to go with a round for my e ring. My least favorite are princess cuts and marquise cuts.

I love, love, love my princess! I have always loved them. I love the symmetry and the sparkle and while I strongly considered oval, radiant and cushion I always came back to princess. It was really my only choice.
Shapes I never strongly considered were round (too common), heart (gimmicky/childish), emerald and asscher (not enough sparkle), pear and marquise (I just don’t like them, never have)

I like asscher and princess the best, followed by emerald — I guess I have a strong preference for square-shaped. There are so many beautiful round diamonds and other stones, but they are a bit boring to me.

I am definitely on the other end of the spectrum as it looks like Marquise is getting a lot of “love” on the dislike list lol, but My favorite used to be round, and I USED to dislike Marquise, until I actually put one on and realized how much the shape suits my hand. Now it’s my favorite shape, closely followed by round. I don’t really dislike any diamond shape, I think every shape can be set beautifully and look pretty.

I love Marquise despite the hate they get… such a classic and elegant look IMO. My ring is Marquise and I adore it!
There’s not really a cut I dislike, though princess is probably my least favorite.

I have experimented and owned pretty much all the shapes, but rounds reign supreme with me. I guess it’s due to them having more facets; therefore, more sparkle. However, I also love big emerald cut stones and get lost in all the windows. I used to dislike emerald cut due to the lack of sparkle.
My least favorites are marquise, princess, and cushion for diamonds/colorless stones. I can tolerate them more minus the marquise in colored stones.
I’m still undecided about the pear and oval. I just bought a near 7 carat pear sapphire(14x10mm) and 6 carat (12x10mm) oval sapphire and am indifferent towards the shapes.
