hi girlies tell us about your favourite foundation do you like light medium or full coverage? Do you prefer high end or drugstore foundation? If you wear fake tan what colour foundation do you use to match up that fake tan and what is your normal skin tone shade of foundatio?

I’m a super fair skinned type lady, and I personally prefer a lighter coverage. I usually use a more high-end foundation as many drugstore types make me break out. My current foundation is the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in whatever their lightest shade is.

Best thing ever for me is Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream. It has major coverage for a BB cream, and gives me the best skin ever. I would buy shares in this company if I could, I love it that much.
I also like Revlon Colorstay, it is long lasting and inexpensive, and I find better than lots of higher end products. I don’t mind spending cash, but when a cheaper product works just as well I am happy to use it 🙂
I never tan, real or fake. I have a fair complexion.

I’ve got a few high street foundations I rotate through, but I’m not crazy about any of them. For special occasions though, I use the Cover Expert foundation by By Terry. It’s expensive, but the coverage is good and the finish is amazing.

I swear by Estee Lauder Double Wear and use shade 1C1 (Shell).
If I’m wearing wake tan, I have a cheap Maybelline foundation in 2 different colours so I can best match as it doesn’t always end up the same shade depending on how much tan I slap on.
It’s I like a foundation that’s high coverage, but use it pretty sparsely. I’d rather have high coverage and use a little than lower coverage and have to put on more.

My favourite by far is the face and body foundation by MAC. It has very light coverage, and does NOT feel cakey whatsover. I used it for my wedding and I still use it for special occasions (since I don’t wear makeup everyday, except mascara and sometimes eyeliner).
ETA: I don’t wear fake tan – I am very pale with freckles. This foundation is light enough so that my freckles come through, but it gives a very polished look.

My holy grail is Makeup Forever’s Mat Velvet in Porcelain. I’ve tried several Smashbox, Mac, Clinique and other high end foundations and they just don’t do it for me. I’d say it’s a medium coverage that is buildable. My runner up is actually drugstore – Maybelline Fit me Matte+Poreless. I like having a $6 foundation around for when I’m feeling frumpy but still want something on my face (that doesn’t cost $40!).

BrideAddict92: Chanel vitalumiere. It goes on so smooth and light, great coverage, nice fragrance, has SPF and I always get compliments on my complexion! It’s a little pricier but worth it in my book!

It’s like airbrushing in a bottle. Against my better judgement, I bought it for $60 about 5 years ago and I can no longer use anything else as it makes my skin flawless. But I use so much less than the liquid and the bottle lasts a super long time.

I used to love LORAC Natural Performance foundation, until my local Sephora’s stopped carrying the LORAC line that is. I’ve tried to find it somewhere online, but after tax and shipping it would just end up being too much money.
For the past 9 months or so I have been using either Clinique Even Better, or Estee Lauder DoubleWear Light. I found the ELDW-Light to be much lighter and more easily blendable, but still offering a good amount of coverage (as I do have mild acne, and lots of discoloration and old acne scars to cover).

MsGolightly: I just got Face and Body yesterday and I love it! I too got it for the wedding, since I don’t wear foundation and wanted something light.

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua! It doesn’t look cakey or make me break out, and I have SUPER sensitive skin. It’s a little more expensive, but one bottle lasts me about 6 months. Sometimes more.

MsGolightly: This is what I use as well. It is my absolute favorite. I feel like anything else is too heavy for my liking!
