Hey ladies (possible gents), I’ve been in a wine slump lately. I walk into the store, decide what colour I want and just fall back on my (right now) favourite brands. I need some recomendations for something new.
I like red, white and pink, it just depends on my mood. I don’t care for really dry or really sweet, I prefer to ride the middle.

Try some Pinot Noirs. Not too heavy but not sweet either.

If you can find it, Kitchen Sink red table wine is great! Also, I love cupcake brand Sauvignon blanc- not too dry, but not super sweet- a great balance in the middle! But my favorite brand is Layer Cake. They have a malbec that is pretty amazing but my favorite is their red zinfandel- very bold, rich and heavy! Now I would like a glass of wine please!

I really like the Menage A Trois red blend. Mmm. And the Francis Ford Coppola red blend.

Kinsen plum wine is pretty amazing if you’re in the mood for something a little sweet (not dessert, though).
I’m a huge fan of visiting local wineries and trying new wines. Is that an option for you?

My favorite wine is EnRoute. It’s a pinot noir from Russian River Valley. If you’re looking for something more affordable (under $20) my go to wines are Menage a Trois red blend like PP and Wild Horse -also a pinot noir.

I’m not a big red drinker (gives me migraines) but we brought a couple bottles home from our honeymoon – a Chianti Classico from a place right outside Florence. Mmmmm.
Also I’m a bubbly girl. L. Mawby is my current fave – we served their Jadore at our wedding. I bought a case and we drink one a month, it’s delicious. I usually go for a demi-sec in a sparkler, can’t do a brut. Their M. Lawrence “Sex” is good, too. 🙂

My go-to is Yellow Tail Shiraz. Not particularly original, but I know what I’m getting and I LIKE what I’m getting. I like the Smoking Loon merlot, too.
I don’t really drink white wine..

White Zinfendale or a Merlot.

I just tried the Menage A Trois red blend last night (7.95 at Costco) and the first few sips I thought it was really bitter, but it warmed up a little bit and the rest of the glass was pretty smooth.
I *love* 14 Hands red blend – it’s an Eastern Washington wine. They also have a white blend which is decent.
Trader Joe’s has a 5$ Lambrusco that is freaking delicious too.

Moscato d’Asti Bosc dla Rei….I can drink an entire bottle in one sitting it tastes like dessert.

Martini & Rossi-Moscato d’Asti is my absolute fave! Its just perfect all around. Also, Trader Joe’s has a Moscato d’Asti called Villa Alena that is about 1/2 the price and equally as delicious!

@lolot: +1. Coppola Claret is my favorite.
