@meg.miles:  Get an airbrush tan.

I just plan to spend time outside before June so I have a soft glow but nothing super dramatic.  I think natural skin tone is beautiful even if  it’s super light.

@meg.miles:  There’s different shades of a tan, I believe.  Try it out first and see how it works for you.  Possibly consult someone at the salon/shop/etc about it as well.

I’m just embracing my paleness. I figured that I’m white all year long, so why would I want to look different on my wedding day.

Spray tans have come a long way since the Oompa Loompa days.

The only thing that I don’t like about spray tans is that they make you smell like potatoes or something. It makes my stomach feel queasy so I don’t get them.

@JM1217:  LOL!

I tend to tan very easily and since my wedding isn’t until September I will have at least some sort of colour from just being out in the sun a little bit (with sunscreen!). I may do a spray tan if I have some weird tan lines but hopefully that won’t be the case.

 love reading all these alternative ideas to tanning beds.

here’s a thread i started earlier tonight about tanning beds. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/tanning-7

these beds can kill you or fill you with disease. if you read anything tonight, read some of this blog:

adventureswithmelanoma.blogspot.com

also, watch downton abbey and marvel at lady mary’s beautiful PALE skin!!!

I usually do not tan, and always wear sunscreen. However, I do plan on tanning in the few weeks before my wedding.

I wish I could have done some, but any type of tanning makes me look like a tomato because of my super fair skin.  I wish we would have had the extra cash for spray tanning, I have seen those up close and they look exactly like they laid in the sun for a month, beautiful skin coloring if it is done by the right person.
