Across the Universe by the Beatles. At first I thought it was totally romantic, but then I googled the meaning of the song and John Lennon wrote it when he was fighting with his then wife. Oh well, I still love it.
Songbird by Fleetwood Mac (but the Glee version… nerds!)
@Gingery1: We wanted to dance to ‘I Will Follow You into the Dark’ but it was too upbeat for our taste, so I ended up walking down the aisle to it! Our pianist learned it just so I could… it was so nice! Now just waiting for our video so I can hear it again!
@jjmomma: Brad Paisley does have some amazing songs. “She’s Everything” is a song very near and dear to Fiance and I. He tears up and can barely speak everytime he hears it. And of course he has to sing it to me.
Our first dance will be to “We Danced” by Brad. I have no doubt we will both be crying. Fiance has told me that ever since we started planning our wedding, when he hears this song he tears up thinking about finally getting to dance to this with me as husband and wife 🙁
I was going to use History in the Making by Darius Rucker but I’m in love with the new release of God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton. We’re having a relative of a friend with an amazing country music voice sing it and I can’t wait!
We are in our mid 20’s he likes nothing but Rap and i’m a R&B girl but we both agreed on a song called “My Good Thang’ by Pretty Willie. (R&B) He has an amazing voice and the lyrics are perfect. (Except a part in the beginning where he say the girl he is marrying was premiscuous and what not…which we will have the DJ edit out lol)
