I think we’re going with “Superman” by Lazlo Bane (the theme from the TV show Scrubs). It was our favorite show, and it’s lighthearted, a little quirky, and non-traditional, which I think are words that describe us to a “T”. 🙂
we danced to “that’s where it’s at” by sam cooke. i wanted something classic and timeless that we wouldn’t be embarrassed about in 10 years. my husband and i were long distance for our entire relationship and whenever he’d have to leave after one of his visits i’d always say, “just stay for one more minute.” and there’s a line in the song that goes, “to say it’s time to go and she says, ‘yes, i know, but just stay one minute more.” so yeah, that song is pretty much perfect for us 🙂
I’m Your Moon, by Jonathan Coulton (It’s a love song to Pluto, from Pluto’s moon. SO CUTE I CAN’T EVEN and both FH and I are super into silliness and space so it’s perfect. Also it’s not too slow or too long.)
“We can only be who we are Doesn’t matter if they don’t understand”
We’re doing “I’ll Follow You” by Shinedown. Our original was “Give it all we got Tonight” by George Strait, but FH heard the Shinedown song on the radio, and loves it. I do too, and we wanted to be different. So that’s what we’re going with!
