kwbride2015:  This is our processional song! Well, a cover of it by Vitamin String Quartet. The lyrics are so perfect for a wedding!

Our first dance will either be “Better Together” or “I Got You,” both by Jack Johnson. A nearby dance studio offers a package for couples who want to work on a first dance, so we plan to run the choices by them and see which will be better.

You Are The Best Thing by Ray Lamontagne. It’s a beautiful song, and our band played it so well.

‘Going to the Dance With You’ by Kristin Chenoweth. One of my fave singers and my Fiance bought tickets to one of her very first tours for my birthday. And we just love the lyrics. 🙂

Burial – Archangel. Blew our friends away but that’s what happens when two people that met at an Aphex Twin show get married.

Not. A. Clue. My fiance actually has/wants to be involved in wedding planning. Most guys don’t care and the girl picks. We don’t have any special songs (yet..) though we’ve seen lots of plays/musicals so maybe that might spark something.

I kind of want Time of My Life from Dirty Dancing…and to learn to dance well and dedicate to my mom…she passed 12 years ago and LOVED that movie 🙂

My FI’s bro & his wife danced to Alkaline Trio – Every Thug Needs a Lady…terrible name but a great song and her mom is dance teacher so yea, it looked great

He likes Ska (sp?) music…any tips there?

We both like country..I love Texas Country/Texas Americana so “Feet Don’t Touch the Ground” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMGuUyB3D30) would be great but I’m not sure PLUS a gf used it at her wedding ( we both saw the band together)

kwbride2015:  :):) that’s “our song,” too. That will be so lovely. Are you dancing to the original?

“I Love You (More Today than Yesterday)” by Spiral Starecase. It’s pretty upbeat but I started singing it (off key) to Darling Husband shortly after we first said I love you and it was perfect for us. We paid a woman to choreograph it, give us one lesson, and then film it so we could practice on our own. Of course we forgot most of the choreography when it was time but we muddled through it and looked adorable.
