I’m Jessica, but go by Jess, whether I want to or not. I’m also six feet tall, hence the ‘stretch’ part of my username. 🙂

I love my name, just wish it wasn’t so so common. And to top it off my middle name is Elizabeth, another beautiful but annoyingly common name. And I have a very common last name too (Up there with Smith and Brown). Lucky my fiance is Aussie-Croatian and has a very uncommon name haha.

My name is Sara, my twin sister’s name is Amy. My mom was planning on naming us Catherine and Elizabeth, however, my dad decided we should be named Amy and Sara while my mom was all drugged up. She of course agreed because at that point she didn’t care. Lol I have always really liked my name. 🙂

Brandy

Spelled correctly.

I always hated my name (I think it sounds trashy, and every Brandy/Brandi/Brandie/Brandee I’ve ever met has been trashy), but I got over it (mostly). I have no idea where it came from; I’m not named after any of the songs or the liquor, and we aren’t from the south or a hick town. You’ll never find Brandy on any personalized stuff.

ETA: It’s rare that I meet another Brandy (no matter the spelling), but oddly, we had THREE of them when I was in 4th grade, and we all had the same math class. Thankfully I was just plain Brandy, but the other two were “Brandi with an I” and “BLT” (which was a rather unfortunate nickname for her). They both moved the next year and that hasn’t happened since. Convenient, actually, when I don’t want to use my last name.
