I think revealing clothes can start to look trashy very quickly. But I don’t think it’s just the clothes that kind of create this look- I think it’s the fake tans, extremely bleached hair (with 2″ of roots), and caked on make up that make someone look really bad. I think people can look sexy covered up and without an entire sephora store on their faces.

I turn to DH and say, “Damn did you see her? She was fine!” and he goes “Huhwhaaa?” or he’ll say “Yeah she was” and then we go about our business. If you can rock it, rock it girl!

I have a friend who when I first met her in college, she wore a lot of corset like tops and short shorts. She had the body and confidence for it! She wasn’t flaunting or trying to get attention from the opposite sex, it was just her style and she rocked it. She’s the sweetest girl, only ever had one boyfriend/now husband since I’ve known her, and has a great professional career. She still dresses like that (abeit a little more toned down) in her non-professional wear.
I think part of the package is the attitude that goes along with it. If you dress sexy and confident, I’ll admire you for it. If you dress sexy and act skanky/desperately attention grabbing, then I’ll raise my eyebrow at you.

I don’t pay much attention to what people wear, so if I even notice, it’s probably either (a) a really awesome outfit or (b) showing wayyyy too much. I think if you have the body, you can rock it without showing so much skin that it grabs attention.
It goes for both genders, though, I don’t want to see a guy with shorts that might show me something inappropriate either… it just seems to happen less often.
