So I absolutely love my e-ring and nothing anyone says will change my mind. It’s so me and unique and I wouldn’t want anything different. So, this post is more of me just being curious and nosey.
A lot of girls in my graduate program asked to see it upon coming back from break, they are all my age-ish. I showed it off gladly! However their reactions were sort of lack luster. I got a lot of “Oh, it’s so different!” And “It’s very you.” And “Wow, I’ve never seen anything like it.” No one really said it was pretty or beautiful or anything!
So, I’m just curious (as I’m not very good at reading social situations) if my ring is just unique to me and I’m the only one who really thinks it’s gorgeous (which is fine, like I said- just curious)
The only time I was complemented on my ring spontaneously was at a nursing home by a very elderly woman, perhaps my ring appeals to older generations?
Anyways, honest opinions? (Brutally honest! It won’t hurt my feelings!) and in case anyone’s curious: it’s a princess cut diamond with two round champagne diamonds in halos .5 ct equivalent!

I think it’s very beautiful!

Too busy for my taste but I don’t think it’s that ‘out there’

It’s pretty. It’s much too busy for my taste in e-rings, but I’d like it for a RHR.

The champagne diamonds don’t do it for me, but otherwise I’m quite taken with your ring.
Also, when I showed my mother my wedding dress she said “wow, that is striking!” (via text) and I have no idea if that’s a good thing or not. Lol. So I feel you on the not being able to read social situations.

I really like it! I’m not a fan of halos, but I LOVE the rose gold, and the twist of gems is beautiful!! (But I’m a little biased in that area ;))

I’m not a fan of the illusion box setting the middle stone is set in but it’s pretty and if you love it that’s all that matters. 😊

The only thing I’m not sure I would like for my own taste is that with the white diamonds, rose gold, and champagne diamonds there are just a lot of color tones for one ring. Overall I still think it’s pretty, though.

I get people saying that it is busy! Heh. I think that’s one of the reasons I love it. I never really liked solitaires, for e-rings or any other. My fiancé surprised me with this, as if he knew! It incorporated a bunch of my favorite things, halo, rose gold, princess cut, and a design band. The three stone thing wasn’t a preference but I love it just the same! I never spoke of my preferences at all so it just showed how well he knew me, even without me telling him what I liked!

I like it! I’m a big fan of two and three tone rings.

Very pretty and unique. I personally like unique rings but some people don’t, that’s the only thing I can imagine would be “negative” about your ring ? I think it’s lovely, almost has a vintage-y look to it.

The design is overwhelming. It has an antique vibe to it so that is fine if that is the direction you’re going for. As long as you love it that is all that matters.

Oh! I actually really like it! I didn’t think I would while reading your post, haha! It has almost like an antique-y vibe to it. I’m a big fan of the gold too.

I think it’s beautiful and I love that you used champange diamonds. I don’t think its everyones style, cuz people pretty much go with a stanard selecton nowadays but who wants to be like everyone else?
Complete honesty along with the cutthroat artist designer in me, makes me also add should have done yellow gold and If you were okay with warmer diamonds I would have done something more like this
