First name, last name. Same as all other social contacts. I don’t like emojis, so none of those, either

Coworkers all get a company name/abbreviation as their last name.

TheGridMonster :  My phone is also password/touch ID protected, but I figure if someone finds me passed out with my phone near me they will use my finger to unlock my phone?  I would do that, and if they didn’t have an ICE in their contacts, I would look for a “Mum” or “Dad” to call.

ETA: No-one panic, I would call an ambulance first!  Just thought I should add that.

JulietFoxtrot :  Haha I wish whoever tried that luck! My Touch ID rarely works for me bc of my clammy hands and I usually have to just punch in my passcode. I’d probably just go to recent calls and call whoever seemed to show up the most.

I’m another one for ICE First name Last name.

Everyone is in their phone by proper names. My 1000+ work contacts automatically sync in to my phone so I have to keep it super organized.

My favorites list is where I keep my frequent numbers.

beachbride2018 :  I have my SO under a pet name that I call him. Funny you asked this because I watch a lot of “reality shows” and I noticed many if not all the women there have on their phones their husbands’ first and last name together (cameras usually shows who they are talking to on the cellphone screen). Maybe they just do this in front of the cameras and really have them under pet names when they are not filming?

The first thing my husband and I bonded over was music. So when we first started dating, I put his first name and some musical notes. When we were seriously dating, I added a heart. And it’s stayed that way ever since 🙂

SuperKate :  ICE is great in theory but most people have security codes and pins to unlock their phone these days which make in case of emergency numbers unaccessible in most emergencies 😞

beachbride2018 :  He’s Hlāford and in his phone I’m Hlafdige, which is Anglo Saxon for Lord and Lady because we’re huge nerds.

None of the above — my fiance’s nickname is Ziggy (hence my username on here lol). All of our friends and acquaintances call him that; I’m pretty sure I didn’t even know his actual first name for the first year that I knew him, lol. So when I got his number, that’s what I put it under in my phone.

It wasn’t until we had been dating for about a month that he started insisting I call him by his first name. (Only me, my family, and his family are allowed to call him by his real first name.) So even though I now call him by his first name (which is essentially also a more intimate pet name), I still have him listed under his more commonly used nickname in my phone.
