I have an email set up through work and another through school that I use for all my professional stuff, however, after I get married I would like to change my old personal email to a new one that reflects my last name. So, ladies, what kind of format is your email that reflects your last name? first and last names, first initial with new last name, etc.

I wanted first name.married name but it was already taken. So I did first initial, middle initial, married last name

Right now my email is [email protected] – I’ve had it for so long as my personal email, that I’ll probably still keep it and start a new one once I change my last name, but I doubt the new one will get used that much. I already have a spam email that doesn’t have my name in it at all and a work email. How many emails does one girl need?? lol

My e-mail is just my first name, and a different version of my middle name (what I wanted was taken, so I just changed the last letter from an ‘e’ to an ‘a’). I have a gmail that is my full name, but I don’t use it. I will stick with my current Yahoo e-mail as long as possible.

First initial, middle initial, maiden initial, married last name
the other combinations (leaving out my maiden name) were all taken.

Before I met Mr TTR I had 2 email accounts… one for work [email protected] and a fun-one for my personal stuff (and junkmail) it was with an on-line email service that I could access anytime anywhere (like hotmail) [email protected]
Just before I got married, I created a new on-line email account using my new surname… and that is what I use primarily now. My old fun account is now where all my junk mail goes (ads, sign ups etc)… that keeps my new one pretty clean and not bogged down with unnecessary stuff.

First name-middle initial-last name-last 2 digits of the year I was born. Without the dashes, of course. lol.

I already started an email address for wedding stuff (to give to vendors, etc) that I could easily use after the wedding – my first name, my FI’s (what will also be mine) last name’s first letter, and 2015, the year we will be getting married 🙂

I really wanted [email protected] or [email protected]
I ended up with [email protected]. I prefer not to use my full name in an email addy but I made an exception this time because i’ll be using it professionally. I refuse to put numbers in my professional email address because I find them unprofessional. 🙂

Mine is first initial, new last name. Luckily it’s a totally unique name to just his family so it was available for me to pick!

Ugh, I can’t wait to start using my new email address, if only because I have two that I currently use, and it’s a pain in the arse. One is my “normal” one and the other is my “professional” one (firstname.middleinitial.lastname). It’s annoying to have to switch between them.
I registered my new one a while ago, just in case, but it’s [email protected].
