Out of curiosity, what do you consider “me” time?
For me personally, me time is when I can have time all to myself to relax and watch a movie in bed or read a book. Exercise to me is more of an obligation, not me time. And time spent traveling or socializing with friends, while totally enjoyable once a week or on occasion, can be mentally tiring for people can come off as extraverts but in reality are much more comfortable when by themselves.

When I can melt into my couch, look at Pintrest (and WB) and watch cheesy shows without judgement. A glass of wine is a nice touch.

Usually when just finding time to sit down and enjoy shows, movies, or gaming. When it’s warmer, it’s getting to go out and just take a stroll around downtown or in the parks. Getting some time to take a long soak in a bath with bubbles or lavender salt is great too. Usually I like to take the whole week around thanksgiving off where I can just bake and get caught up on house projects which still feels like me time because it’s relaxed and at an enjoyable pace.

Lying in bed watching Netflix, usually series or documentaries. Eating some ice cream or dried cranberries with it!

Just having time by myself where I can relax and not have to worry about any obligations or responsibilities. So reading a book, watching Netflix, playing a video game, ect. Even cleaning or cooking can be me time since if I’m in the right mood I can find those activities enjoyable.
While exercise can be a good de-stressor I don’t really consider that to be me time since it’s not really relaxing.

I consider the gym “me” time because it is mentally relaxing for me. If I don’t go, I feel pent up and become anxious.
Every day after work/gym I take a bath and listen to my audiobook while SO cooks and listens to HIS audiobook. We both consider this time our respective “me” time.
Time spent with SO doesn’t drain me like time spent with friends, so I need very little time away from him. I do enjoy the occassional weekend day/s when he’s gone for fishing or hunting trips though. On those weekends, I usually gym and then spend the rest of the day cleaning with an audiobook on or watching documentaries in bed.

Definitely when I can just be in my pjs, lay in bed or on the couch and catch up on my zillions of recorded shows. Or even when I can just go to target or the grocery store without having to take my toddler! lol

I think the most ‘me time’ feeling me time is when I’m doing art. I do marker illustrations and polymer clay sculptures and other arty/crafty things and I feel the most like I’m both indulging myself, and expressing myself when I do those things.
I do also consider lounging time and exercise ‘me time’. Not so much socializing. I’m a social introvert as well, so while I love going out and hanging out with friends, I do have limited energy for it and need to recharge later.

My walk home from work. Going to the grocery store alone is a good one too.

Wrapped up in my blanket watching Netflix without anyone bothering me. Plus a coke!

I love going to the grocery store. I won’t take FI with me because I love to take my time and talk to my mom on the phone there. My favorite thing!
i also LOVE the nights FI is with friends, I love my time with him and he doesn’t stress me out or anything but we have a small apartment so we are always in the same room. I like just being able to lay on the couch, watch wtv I want on tv and play on my phone.

Running/working out, riding/horse time at the barn, reading, and definitely having the apartment to myself to watch whatever TV shows I want with a glass of wine 😉

Going for a coffee at my favourite cafe BY MYSELF! Also taking a bath and giving myself a facial are good ones.
