It helps to have as much prepped as possible the night before. Even when I was a kid, I had my backpack ready to go and my clothes picked out the night before. That way, I can wake up and do through everything I have to do without getting bogged down by extraneous stuff.

I usually wake up and hour to 90 minutes in advance. Immediately shower since it peps me up, then get dressed. I lay my clothes out the night before. Then I feed my animals, do my hair and makeup if I’m feeling it. Grab lunch/breakfast and have about 20 minutes to sit around. News, netflix, my DVR, something along those lines. Then kisses to the animals and out the door. I also have a 35 minute commute though, so it varies on the weather.

I’m up about 80 minutes before I walk out my door. Up at 5:30, let the dogs out to pee and feed them. Pick up random stuff around the house while they eat. Shower around 6. Hair/Make-up/Clothes done by about 6:40. Another 10 minutes to let the dogs out again and get them settled for the day and then out the door.

I’m not a morning person by any means but I’d rather wake up 10-15 minutes earlier and take my time in the morning than rush out the door (which usually results in me forgetting something)

My work is pretty lenient when it comes to what time I have to be in the office.  So because of that I have implemented a personal policy that I must be in the office at 8:30am or I will not be allowed my diet pepsi for the day (and my diet pepsi is very important to me and something I look forward to all morning).

So because of that personal policy I get up no later then 6:30am (so 90 minutes before I have to leave), get in the shower, do my hair and makeup, get dressed, take my pup out, feed my pup, make my breakfast and lunch.  Then I am off to the office.

I am the same exact way as you! It takes me forever and a day to get ready and get going on weekday mornings. I usually wake up about an hour and 15 mins before I have to leave, but really an hour and 30 would be more helpful to me because I always feel rushed. I let my dog out and feed her first, pick up any random trash in the kitchen while I’m feeding her, then shower (any hair washing HAS to be done the night before!), I put my make up on while I watch the news and drink my tea, then do my hair, get dressed and out the door!

I’m up 3ish hours before I have to be to work. I get up at 5:15 a.m. most days to get to the gym. Put in a 45 min. workout. Home by 7 a.m. Shower, eat breakfast which watching Netflix, make my lunch, make FI’s lunch, feed the fish. Out the door by 8:15 a.m. Have to be to my office my 8:30 a.m. (which is two miles up the road).

I still feel rushed and not enough time to relax! Even with waking up 3 hours early. Though, this works for me right now… hoping to still make changes as needed.

I wake up about 2 hours before I need to leave for work because, I too, am a sloth in the morning. I usually have my lunch ready the night before, but I get up, shower, do makeup, do my hair, eat breakfast, have some coffee, and take my sweet time doing it! Lol

When I had to work I chose what I would wear, down to shoes and jewelry, the night before. My lunch was made and waiting in the fridge. I got up 90 minutes before I had to leave to shower and have my pot of tea {which is totally necessary if I need to be pleasant to anyone}.

Thanks to a lucky lottery ticket I no longer have to work outside the home.  I roll out of bed around 10 am, have my breakfast and go about my day. I now own a yoga studio and I volunteer in my community.  But I STILL need my pot of tea before I am able to face the day!

I take roughly 25 mins to get ready. Sleep is important to me so I sleep as late as I can. I roll out of bed, brush my teeth, get dressed, put on make-up and take the dogs out/feed them.  I wake up at 7:15 and am out the door at 7:40 … at work at 7:55 (have to be there at nine). My husband takes longer than me and I have noooo idea why.

My clothes and everything are laid out the day before. I also have my meals prepared a week in advance so all I do is grab them.

I wake up at 6am and allow myself to “wake up” and play on my phone or whatever until 6:15am. Then, I jump in the shower and get ready! By 7am I take the dog out and we’re usually back by 7:15am. From there, I make myself iced tea and a snack, feed the dog, and leave by 7:30am or so to be at work by 8am.

I usually leave around 7:15, so I’m up at 6:55-7. Bathroom, brush teeth, get dressed and leave! My hair is easy so I just run a brush thru it on the way to work. I like me sleep lol

@lovechocolate: Thank god you posted this- I was starting to feel reaaaalllll lazy about my mornings :-/ My schedule is basically identical to yours. But I also work from home three days a week, so it only pertains to the 2 days that im in the office.
