I will probably use one or both in my wedding vows…
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride. I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this. In which there is no you or I, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close. – Pablo Neruda
I didn’t fall in love with you. I walked into love with you, with my eyes wide open, choosing to take every step along the way. I do believe in fate and destiny, but I also believe we are only fated to do the things that we’d choose anyway. And I’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you. – Kiersten White

These are all so romantic!
There’s a line in the David Bowie/ Queen song Under Pressure that I really love. To me it really puts in to words how much being in love with the right person makes you the best version of yourself.
“And love dares you to change our way of caring about ourselves”

This isn’t exactly a “love poem” but I read this once a lomg time ago and have loved it ever since. He’s can be changed to she’s and works both ways. I think it puts relationships into a realistic perspective.

“But this is touching, Severus,” said Dumbledore seriously. “Have you grown to care for the boy, after all?”
“For him?” shouted Snape. “Expecto Patronum!”
From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe. She landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
“After all this time?”
“Always,” said Snape.”

I LOVE EVERYTHING BY PABLO NERUDA!! He can out into words the thoughts that are in people’s heads that they can’t articulate….
im a Shakespeare freak soooo sonnet 116, “love is not love which alters when it alteration finds or bends with the remover to remove. O no, it is an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken. It is the star to every wandering bark whose worth’s unknown although his height be taken. Love alters not with its brief hours and weeks but bears it out even til the edge of doom.”
Andddd That ^ was memorized, how sad! Hahaha
also I love this quote from Hamlet, “doubt thou that the stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move, doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love.”

Cheesy, but a goodie…

“Can one invent verbs? I want to tell you one: I sky you, so my wings extend so large to love you without measure.”
