Love your idea and the ‘statues’ looked gorgeous but they were most definitely not wearing 16th century /Shakespearian era clothing,  which  looks like this

Your statues were wearing what looks more late 18th /early 19th century. 

I’m sure it made no difference to the fun though  !

Instead of favours we are doing dog cookie favours from our dogs to theirs. And making a donation to a dog rescue

But they changed it on us at the last minute, which was permitted under the contract and I guess the company just gave us whatever they had that was closest to our theme. yell
