Dark brown with natural red highlights. Every single hairdresser thinks I have dyed it that color, but I haven’t. My moms a red head!

Dark blonde… Didn’t know that until 2 years ago when I stopped dying it though. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve gone from light blonde to dark brown to light brown to red to my natural hair color (current.) Only thing I haven’t tried (and won’t be trying) is black. I’d post my “hair color continuum” haha, but I don’t wanna be an AW. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Very dark brown/black.

This pic is very embarassing, but a good glimpse at my hair. It’s just above waist-length when its straight. And yeah… thats me falling on my ass in the ice.

Medium chestnut with natural blond & auburn low-lights.

Any time I go to a salon they ask me if it’s my natural colour and are floored when I say yes.

Mine’s a dark blonde/light brown, reddish tinged with baby blonde highlights.

My hair dresser freaked me right out when I asked if my hair would be grown out enough by July to do a certain updo.  He asked when I’d last dyed my hair and I said “4 years ago”.

And he goes, well, your hair’s barely grown at all since then, so probably not…

Seriously, the last dye job had completely grown out, and it was just my normal hair he was looking out.

Mine’s really dark brown with some natural caramel/redish lowlights (much more visible in the summertime).

The only time I have ever dyed it was once when I decided to try to bring out my natural lowlights a bit more so I got more caramel/redish/copper lowlights put in.  I could hardly tell the difference and decided it wasn’t worth the moeny so I never did it again.

Mine is kind of an odd color… My hairdresser claims it is a very dark blonde, but I think it is a light mousy brown.  However, I have every color in it as highlights and low lights, naturally.  I have red hairs, black, brown… It’s all there.  So my natural color just depends on the lighting and time of year.

I don’t have many good pictures of my natural color, but I do have pictures of other colors with my natural color at the roots:

This is probably the closest to my natural color my hair has been… But the roots are my natural color.  The rest of my hair has blonde and strawberry highlights.

But my roots in this picture (which are super long horrible roots!) show how light my hair actually is… quite a bit of blonde under there. haha

I’m making a pact to not dye my hair for the next year unti my wedding so I can figure out what I want to do with it and it will be as healthy as possible… We’ll see how that goes.

Brown with [natural] highlights and odd red undertones that rarely show up.

My mom tried to highlight my hair in middle/high school. She cried when we washed the dye out. Because of the red already present and just the weirdness of my hair, it turned my roots orange. Never again.

Most would say dark brown, though I’ve been told by one hairdresser that I could possibly classify as a redhead with lots of brown lowlights.  During the winter I’m definitely dark brown, but when the summer hits and the sun lightens my hair a bit it definitely looks a lot redder!
