@jesssamesssa:  ahahah!!!! I have baby fever too and I know the theme for my future babys room

We want it to be Winnie the Pooh because its neutral. We don’t plan on finding out what the sex of the baby is until day of delivery!

We’re also not TTC but already have the themes picked out (we’re terrible I know!) lol For a girl it will be a tiffany blue/mint color with trees and birds (our wedding them is love birds) and for a boy it will be red with different sports on each wall (we are hugeeee sports fan!) I can’t wait to actually decorate in like 2 years lol

I’m obsessed with everything grey/yellow. I’ve only picked up a few things so far since we’re due in May but I really like elephants haha so I’ve been gravitating towards that.

My nursery theme is “Love You Tons” – preppy navy blue and green whales with nautical touches.  It’s a boy and I grew up in conservative New England by the coast.  It actually came out much cuter than I thought it would.

There’s a nursery decor thread on the pregnancy boards if you’re interested in checking it out, and this site is awesome too: projectnursery.com. My theme was going to be duckies, but we ended up being given all sorts of other bedding and baby items, so our ‘theme’ is eclectic.

@jesssamesssa:  I wasn’t going to do one, and then my nesting instinct kicked into overdrive a few weeks ago, and I decided I had to have a nursery. It’s being painted white as we speak (it was peppermint patty green before), and I plan to do a Dr. Seuss nursery for my little guy 🙂

I love nursery themes!!  Not TTC yet but we are total nature / bird / wildlife people (I’m a wildlife biologist), so I like the idea of a bird- or owl- or woodland-themed nursery.  Kinda trendy, I know, but that means there are a lot of cute products out there!  Also, I wouldn’t wanted a super girly girly OR really masculine nursery, and I like how this is applicable to either gender.

Mine’s in progress and I’m not pregnant. But…a sky and clouds theme. Regardless of gender. Here are some of the things that will appear in the room:

Nick and Nora Clouds lamp shade – on a white table lamp base.

Blue valances with clouds on them.

Three-piece oil paintings with clouds in the background. And a cool-looking tree. This was seriously one of the only paintings that I could find which heavily features clouds and skyline.

The room will be painted blue with clouds near the top. I might make a dust ruffle using cloud-fabric.

I’m also painting picture frames blue, then using a sponge to dab white clouds on them. When future kid arrives, each frame will have a picture of Dad, Mom, and Baby. There’s a built-in-shelf in the future baby’s room, so they’ll probably go up there.

Finding items with a cloud theme is actually really difficult. It must not be a very popular one.

Thomas Kinkade Disney. We have several of the images already and so boy or girl will decide the overall major colors but inevitably they will be part of the design.  We will just not use the more girly ones if it happens to be a boy.

@jesssamesssa:  i would love something like this because its neutral, minus the tree painting on the wall only because one of my good friends is doing a tree theme for her baby’s room, so I don’t want it to seem like I copied her lol

I would do quote applications from Winnie the Pooh, there are so many good ones!

@jesssamesssa:  In my mind it’s woodland, which blue, grey and orange. In real life it’s not anything because I just buy what’s on sale lol. I really should buy an owl something. I still have my sons monkey bedset so I can’t really justify spending another 200.00 just for a new theme haha.
