I am not a fan. I stick to Louis.

Being in the sorority world that was oversaturated by Vera Bradley makes me a serious un-fan.

To each his/her own, though.

I don’t get them at all. I think they are way overpriced for something that makes you and itself look dated :-/

But, know some people love them! There was another thread about a week or two ago on this… lots of replies on there.

Okay, I think they aren’t the prettiest–and slightly gaudy.  With that said, I’m not a purse person.  However, I do have one of those ID and keychain clutches to store my campus ID, little cash and my keys so it’s all in one place.  It’s very cumbersome to have a huge purse and have my normal backpack as a student.

Essentially, they are overpriced but I can’t find another keychain/ID clutch that’ll work best.  I think it was a $10 well spent.

I am a fan of Vera Bradley for tote bags, duffel bags, id/ glasses /makeup cases, but not as a regular purse (if that makes sense). I love my large duffle and it is the only thing I will carry when I fly or take a weekend trip. Since it is soft-sided, it can fit in more cramped spaces than a lot of other carry-ons. It is also washable, which I love! I have it in the Java Blue. My favorite color used to be Peacock, but it was discontinued. I have been known to wear out the keychain/ ID cases too. I think I am on my 5th one!

@speechie:  yeah my ID case zipper is coming apart.  I really should buy a new one.  I’m waiting for my fav. color to go on clearance.  I’m that much of a cheapskate.

haha i’ve always thought they looked like “old lady bags” (to quote the OP)…some people can rock them – but I really think it depends on one’s personality…for me – yeah, not so much. 😛

I personally love them, but like a PP said I use them for LARGE bags like totes and what not or maybe a really small bag like a wristlet or wallet.

My current favorite print is – sittin in a tree but my mom bought me the poppy one and i like that too!

I am personally not a fan of them. I think they are overpriced and kind of loud when it comes to the print.

I don’t love how they look, although I think some of them are cute. I would never ever buy one though because they would be so incredibly easy to make. I mean come on…. you can buy quilted fabric in fun prints at joanne fabrics and purses are super easy to make. Why spend $50 when you can spend $15?

I love my large duffel, it’s the best for travelling but that’s all I have…Vera Bradley also makes really really pretty stationary that I got at Barnes and Noble that I like… I think the prints are really pretty but agree that the bags are a bit pricey for what they are…

I’m not a fan, but I usually carry neutral colored bags. I’m a big Coach fan (the leather ones, not monogrammed.)

I had one in college to carry my books.  It was the Green Apple print (I’m sure it’s discontinued now, that was 6 years ago).  I think they’re cute, though that ship has kinda sailed for me.  I do think they are an excellent choice for carry on bags however, as speechie mentioned, since they can be easily stuffed into smaller spaces.

I like some of the prints, especially the purple and brown one (I cant remember the print name).  My Mother-In-Law and SIL are HUGE Vera Bradley fans, they have tons of bags in all different colors.  I think my SIL said her mom already has Vera Bradley diaper bags for both of us once we have babies 🙂  I do have a dog leash thats Vera Bradley that I love and a couple other things that are small so its not super loud (a small ID wallet, tape measure, contact case, etc).
