My fiance’s proposal is exactly how I wanted it! I’d always told him that I wanted him to propose whilst on a holiday. He proposed at a beach lookout, early in the morning, with just the two of us around, whilst on our second day on holiday in Australia (we’re from England). It was completely perfect!

M first husband proposed in the middle of the woods during a campfire.
My fh proposed over the phone…tons of times, then in the kitchen when I was making dinner.
They were both perfect..but the best is that he tells me all the time with a huge smile thay he can’t wait to be my husband. That is the yummiest ever

I think I seriously lucked out because he completely surprised me in the best way. We were on holiday in NZ and had one day to hope the weather was good enough to hike the Tongariro Crossing. He proposed at the top after lunch where we managed to find a spot to eat with no one else around!
It also ended up being kind of awesome that we had a week left in our trip so we really got to enjoy it ourselves before coming home to questions (and joy) from family and friends.
the running joke was that he’d propose on a jumbotron at a hockey game…we’re massive massive fans but that would be a nightmare for me in such a public situation 🙈

My proposal was perfect we were in Nova Scotia sitting by the water with our song playing when she proposed and I proposed to her just before she got wheeled into surgery

FH proposed to me at my job with the help of my students! I returned to my room from a “quick meeting” and they were holding signs saying Will You Marry Me. A bunch of my coworkers were there along with my sister. The principal took video and some of my students streamed it to Facebook Live 😂
It was literally a dream come true

Oh man….I have a few perfect proposals. Can I blame that on being a Gemini?! I can never make up my mind but would literally be so happy with any of them.
First would be at this place we randomly ran into each other at. We were both a few hundred miles from our respective homes and we bumped into each other. We have been friends for 22 years now…so it was so cool and it felt like fate. We started dating a year later when he moved to my state.
Second…at the coffee shop we were at when for the first time knew, I loved him. We were snowed in at this hotel and braved the ice to get to a coffee shop and I looked at him while sipping my latte and it was just perfect.
Third….the hotel we were snowed in at
Another good one would be on any sort of vacation. We have a few coming up so a girl can dream hehehe

My dream was to be doing something totally mundane, like washing up, and for the guy to look at me and be so overwhelmed that he asked me then and there because he just HAD to marry me.
The dream came about because my ex kept me waiting so long. I was never entirely sure he wanted to marry me, even after his lovely and elaborate proposal abroad.
My husband proposed in almost my exact dream way. But we hadn’t been dating long so I said no!!! That bit wasn’t part of the dream, lol!

Lol, can I ask how he proposed for the second time?

Married bee here. I never had fantasies of some show boat proposal. Im a more private person and this, to me, feels like the most private moment you can have with your life partner.
I told my husband I didnt want it to happen at home. He said he didnt want to do a big showy thing and I agreed.
We ended up going to dinner at this super chic little wine bar/restaurant. The feel of the place was super cool. We got a table in a corner and it wasnt busy so it felt like we had the moment to ourselves. When the moment arrived he got down on one knee and said so many sweet things about me/our relationship and then proposed. Its was perfect, felt like just him and I in that moment. I’ll always have that moment in my mind <3

The first time he proposed we were alone together at his house. We’d only been together for four months though, and I wasn’t ready, so I don’t think he was too surprised when I said no. He took it very well.
I didn’t say yes for about six months after that. The subject was raised quite a few times during that period by one or other of us, but I remember two more ‘official’ proposals. All three were at his home.
The second proposal, I was on the sofa and he came in from the kitchen where he was cooking dinner to get down on one knee. I still wasn’t ready. I felt soooooo bad saying no, because I did care about him and hated to hurt him.
The third one, I was about to leave for my house late at night and he asked me again as we hugged goodbye and I said yes. He agreed to wait for a week before we told anyone, because I had so much anxiety about engagement (based on a previous broken engagement to someone else). The man is a saint. I don’t know how I found someone so patient and understanding. I think I’d have given up if the roles were reversed!
After we started announcing the engagement to other people, my anxieties gradually went away. We’ve had a great first year of marriage!
I asked him once what his dream proposal would have been (he’s naturally very romantic and demonstrative). I think he’d have liked to make a more grand, public gesture. I wouldn’t have liked that much. Big fancy proposals feel…I don’t know. Like a performance? It’s not me. I hadn’t told him about my Dream Proposal before his first proposal so I guess I was just lucky!

have you ever seen the mugs that in the bottom it says “will you marry me?” I love the idea of how simple it would be. Not to mention, since making coffee and tea is so mundane and regular a task it would be a cute little surprise. At home together and alone is my cup of tea… pun intended.
