Hey Bees! I’m interested in hearing about your diet/exercise secrets that have helped you lose your pre-wedding weight. Besides nerves and stress 🙂
Currently, I am trying to cut down on my portions. Removed all junk food and diet coke from my house and work out (cardio/strength training) 4x week. I’ve noticed slight weight loss but more toning.
I have been eating 3-4 consistent meals a day which helps. Would love to hear about your secrets and successes.

i have just started mine but here is what i hear that works, don’t eat 3 meals a day have like 7 small healthy meals with one being a normal healthy dinner. I also just ordered Turbo Jam to help me work out ( still waiting on it i will let you know how it works) I also have another friend who is getting married and we are going to start going to the YMCA togeather to work out so we both have someone to keep us on track. you are off to a great start hope you lose all you want to and more ( because we all know we say we want to lose like 20 lbs but we really will be very happy with 25lb lol) us girls are weird like that

I’m cutting out fast food and soda, making sure I have more fruit and vegetables on hand and drinking lots more water with lemon. I find that lemon helps cleanse my system/liver, and the better the liver functions the more efficiently toxins are removed from my body instead of getting stuck there among fat. I’m watching my fat, carb, sugar and sodium intake, though I do allow the once-a-week indulgence of my favorite salty snack or cookies. I’m also doing weight-bearing exercises to tone my arms, and teaching dance for a drama class at a local school so I’m kept moving throughout the day. Finally, I’m dialing down the stress in my life, taking time to journal, all the while staying positive with good people and good music. It’s all working, I just gotta keep it up!

I’m a lazy dieter. I have a slice of whole wheat toast w/ peanut butter with my coffee for breakfast, a slim fast shake for lunch, fruit for a snack, and then a reasonable (300-500 calorie) dinner OR I switch it up and have the meal for lunch and the shake for dinner depending on how much energy I think I’ll need at the gym. I go to the gym Mon Wed Fri Sat and Sun to do cardio and weights, and then Tues and Thurs I walk the dog and do Zumba at home on the wii. So far I’ve lost about 15 pounds. I’ve been doing this roughly since December.

Weight Watchers is currently saving my life- I am losing weight in a non-crazy way and just overall I feel great. Counting points gets easier, and you can eat whatever you want, just in smaller portions.
Also, after starting wedding planning- I have added yoga into my workout mix. Honestly? I think I’d be bouncing off the walls and getting really nutty if it weren’t for yoga a few times a week.

Yoga! Makes me fit and more aware of what I’m eating.
Whole grains, good bacteria (like in yogurt), and less snacking.
I stopped late night snacking and noticed my waistline was tighter in a few weeks.

I’m not engaged yet, but I’m in a friend’s wedding in july and want to lose 5 pounds by then, and 10 by the end of the year = 15 total. hopefully I’ll be engaged by then or soon after lol. I’m doing the O2 Diet – I went to the Rehearsal Dinner that wrote the book and it worked for me back in 2009, so I hope that it works a second time around, especially since the weight gain is recent.
