We are using a DJ to play all our ceremony music for our beach wedding. So, I’m thinking I should give him a list of prelude songs, although I’m sure I could just give him free reign if I wanted.
The number of song choices are overwhelming me now though. So I’m wondering…What is/was YOUR prelude playlsist?

Okay, I’ve come up with a few possibilities. I’d like to get a couple more. Just to give you an idea of what type of songs I’m looking for, here is what I’ve got so far:
Nat King Cole
Plain White T’s
Somewhere Over The Rainbow

We are having a non (muscially) traditional ceremony in a very traditional church setting.
While guest are being seated we are playing over the speaker system upbeat bluesy intrumental. Fiance loves modern blues but the lyrics are still not great for weddings so we are doing instrumental.
Prelude songs inclued “All My Fountains” by Chris Tomlin,”Here For You” by Chris Tomlin, and I’m walking down the aisle to “Show You Love” by Jars of Clay.
Our post-lude will be “Rise and Sing” by Fee.
