We are having a food truck cater the dinner that does gourmet sandwiches – each guest can pick whatever they want from the four sandwich and two side (starch & vegetable) options that we’ll have available at the truck. Saves us the hassle of having people RSVP with meal choices, plus the food is delicious and there are options for all eaters (vegan, lactose intolerant, etc.)

Dinner is a buffet:
Salmon with cucumber dill sauce
Flank steak with basil butter sauce
Red mashed potatoes
Grilled summer vegetables
Spinach salad w/strawberries, pecans, and champagne vinaigrette
Bread/butter
And cocktail hour apps and a bunch of stuff for dessert because I have a ridiculous sweet tooth. Donuts, cake pops, cake bars, candy, etc.

All of your menus sound delicious!! My reception will feature foods from his culture and mine. His mom and aunts are providing traditional kenyan foods like chipatis, nyama choma (goat), samosas, etc. (He is half Kenyan – half Nigerian) and my aunt, uncle and mom are helping provide austrian cuisine (My dads is Austrian)like bratwurst with kraut, spaetzle, and a german potato salad. Dinner will be buffet style. We will also serve simple appetizers during the cocktail hour that are still being determined. It will all be finished off with a lovely cheesecake. YUM!
