I’ve heard that most bride’s have nightmares. I’m not surprised that I am having them considering I still dream that I didn’t finish an exam in college and therefore my diploma is null and void (I graduated almost 10 years ago).
For fun, what are your wedding nightmares. My reoccuring nightmare involves me running out of time the morning of between all the prep and everything else going on – so much so that I don’t have time to do my hair and I end up having to go down the aisle with bad hair. So strange? Wonder why this is the thing I’m worried I’ll run out of time for…

Mine is the same thing, at least a few times a week that NO ONE will show up to the wedding or reception and we have all this food and no one to eat it.

My nightmares have been all over the board. I had one that all the guests showed up in white tuxes. Or the one where I forget about the wedding, I ws sitting in Starbucks and suddenly remembered.

I have really only had on bad one so far and in the dream I had forgotten to plan a lot of stuff and a lot of stuff went wrong including vedors not showing up. YIKES!

I had a dream last night…the morning of the wedding I went to get ready and realized that I hadn’t made a hair appointment and never bought makeup. Like I just never thought of it. And a bunch of other things I had just totally never thought to do, like “Oh, we need an officiant? Oops”.
I think it’s my brain’s reaction to me being such a type-A control freak about all the wedding details. We’ve still got over a year to go, the jeweler isn’t even done making my e-ring, and I’m already worrying about little stupid details.

I had a dream 2 nights ago that some other guy was waiting for me at the alter and I was flipping out becuase he wasn’t FH and people kept telling me it was okay to just marry the other guy… I don’t even know who he was! haha

I keep having a nightmare that my seamstress dies (I am designing my own dress) and I will be completely dressless, which is TERRIBLE because if my seamstress died I would be upset because she was dead, not because I suddenly didn’t have someone to make me a kickass dress.
It’s happenedd like, twice already. :/

I had a dream the other night that Fiance was already married…but we were getting married still. And I was like learning about this wife, and that we’d all be living together, and she was rubbing in my face all the things Fiance had done for them on anniversaries and such. It was yuck!

@queencharlotte04: I have nightmares that I forgot to schedule the hair, nails and makeup and I’m running late to the wedding. In my dreams I look terrible and really need someone to do the hair and makeup, but no one knows how..?

I keep dreaming that I forget to write my vows and then I end up at the altar with Fiance and have no clue what to say :/

I had a dream my fiancee bought me this …coral pink, padded, 80’s-style jacket that had been modified to a shrug and has long arms…he wrote me this lovely message sayign he knew I was worried about my arm (I got scalded in Jan and it’s a bit scarry) and that he thought this would cover it up and make me feel comfortable and happy. In the note I could tell that he was really pleased with it – despite the fact we have no coral ANYWHERE lol. I felt pressurised into wearing it – and then on the morning of the wedding I got a ring at the doorbell and there was this matchign, widebrimmed hat like a meter in diameter and I fel obliged into wearing it. I told him about it yesterday in the pub and he was killing himself laughing. Please don’t REALLY buy me a horrible hat and jacket combo, please! lol

I haven’t had one but Fiance had one the other day that cracked me up. I have very curly hair and wear it natural pretty much all the time, he’s seen it straight maybe twice. He woke up genuinely angry the other day, looks at me and goes “I had a dream we were getting married and your hair was straight and I was so mad, it didn’t look like you.” SO I guess I’ll have to wear my hair curly at the wedding, bummer haha.

Well, thank goodness I don’t have dreams about things that are over the way you have about college and exams, so I don’t have wedding nightmares anymore! But when we were planning I had them all the time – and it always went the same way, where whatever I hadn’t done for the wedding at that point never got done, and suddenly it was our wedding dayy. So it’d be the morning of our wedding and I’d be realizing I got a cake and calling bakeries, trying to burn copies of our ceremony music onto a CD, trying to pin my dress because alterations never got done and it was way too long, etc. They were awful!

- Wedding: September 2013 - Creek club at ion, SC
No one shows up or they get bored and leave half way through. Both me and Fiance dream about this
