What will you wear as your something blue?? My garter is my college logo (since my fiance and I are college sweethearts) so I can’t think of anything else. I don’t think I should tell all of my aunts and grandmother, “I’m wearing a blue thong!” when they ask what is my something blue!

tell them! it would be funny.
I had a blue garter

Every bride in my family has worn the same aquamarine ring on her wedding day so that will be my “something blue”.
ETA: I’m also doing the “I DO” blue rhinestones on the bottoms of my shoes.

My garter is a St. Louis Blues garter, so that’s my something blue. I’m also thinking about doing the “I Do” reinstones on the bottom of my shoes.

my dress had a built in corset underneath which laced up under the zipper in the back. so i used blue ribbon to lace it for my something blue. but if that’s not an option for you, here’s some ideas:
tie a bow out of blue ribbon and pin it under the hem of your dress
tuck a tiny blue jeweled pin into your hair
use blue flowered shoe clips, or just wear blue shoes which is super cute
wear a blue ring like the tradition in CaitMarae’s family. her “I DO” blue rhinestones on the bottom of her shoes is a great idea too, as long as your wearing heels! (i’ve always loved that idea, but I wore flats.)
there are many many things that can be blue besides a garter!

I’m wearing an antique silver bracelet that my grandmother gave me (it belonged to her grandmother), and it has blue sapphires in it. It’s also my something old!
I love the idea of wearing a blue garter, underwear, or putting the “I Do” crystals on the bottom of your shoe. Lots of options!

@april30: Oh tell them! They will love it. My blue is going to be my garter, which FI’s grandmom made me.

I wore light blue personalized underwear that said, “Mrs. Lastname” in little rhinestones. Hubby got to see them when he took my dress off in our hotel room after the reception. He loved them!
