Old: late grandmother’s handkerchief

New: dress, veil, garter, shoes

Borrowed: my BFF’s necklace that she wears every day. I wrapped it around my ankle under my dress. I wasn’t too pressed about that one, because I knew I could just grab something out of her apartment on the way and stuff it down the dress if need be. Haha.

Blue: garter and sorority pin

I’m finding this to be such a toughie cause alot of them do double duty!

But officially…

Old: a Bracelet I found on Etsy. Really, it’s new to me, but it was made in the 60’s, so… old enough.

New: I’m making my own sash & headband, so can’t get much newer than that

Borrowed: My mom’s orthodox cross that she was christened in. I’ve wanted to wear it since I was a little girl, and she’d never let me play with it. When she first asked what I wanted to wear (probably meaning dresses), I blurted out “YOUR CROSS!” She’s done everything to convince me otherwise but I shall not be swayed!! MWAHAHA!

Blue: No frikken clue yet. I’m sure I’ll figure out something.

And I’ll get a real sixpence if it kills me!

Old: My grandfather’s rosary, which I’m going to wrap around the bottom of my bouquet

New: Dress, shoes, underwear, etc.

Borrowed: Don’t know yet. I asked my fmil if I could borrow something from her so I will have to wait and see what she has for me

Blue: I’m super excited I just figured out what I’m doing! My crinoline ties around the waist, so I’m taking the tie out and replacing it with a light blue one instead!

Something Old: My vintage 1970s wedding gown.

Something new: Probably will be my shoes.

Something borrowed: We may have found a small box of my grandmother’s jewelry that wasn’t pawned or “lost” by movers, so if there’s jewelry in there, then maybe something of my late-grandmother!

Something blue: I found lovely blue earrings on etsy, but they’re so expensive! Regardless, I’m thinking blue earrings. It’ll work, because blue is one of our wedding colors!
