I’m from CA, which is known for hippies and the beach, and being expensive! We lived in AZ for a few years which is known for being ridiculously hot, racist, and having the Grand Canyon. Now we live in NC which is known for being beautiful, having lots of tech companies, and the Outer Banks.

I’m originally from Orange County, CA and for a while everyone thought it was like that show Laguna Beach (one of those terrible MTV shows). I guess it’s know for Disneyland? I think RunnerBride13 and whoa_its_ash are pretty accurate too. Oh and traffic, lots and lots of traffic driving in southern CA. My husband is originally from Nutley, NJ which is tiny (I think it’s 2 square miles), but it does get mentioned in Futurama (“did you say 10:15 to Nutley” -petunia). I think the state has sadly been tarnished with the images of Jersey Shore lol. Now we live in Charlotte, NC and I guess it’s famous for NASCAR (we’re not really into it) and I think North Carolina in general is famous for the Wright brothers (i.e. first in flight).

Chicago! We’re known for hot dogs, deep dish pizza, the former tallest building in the world (Sears Tower), and pro sports. Also gangsters LOL. The state of Illinois is known for corrupt politicians and . . . corn? Not sure. The rest of Illinois is a mystery to me.

My state- So many things, so let’s go with general Awesomeness.
My home town- For being the state capital. I love it, but when I tell people, the reaction is pretty much “oh that’s nice” lol
My current city- Movies and television, which is precisely why I moved here, among other things, like traffic.
