Boy: Brennan

Girl: Claire

Claire is actually FI’s top name for a girl (he loooves it) and since I like it too I’ll go with that one. I’m still trying to sell him on Brennan. We are not TTC or anything yet, we just like to talk about names sometimes :).

Girl: Madeline Rose

Boy: Owen Alexander

I had a dream last night where I was with my late grandmother. She raised me after my mother died when I was young. When my grandmother died unexpectedly 2 months ago, it made me really sad that she didn’t know we were TTC. In my dream I was able to tell her and we talked about baby names. She told me she loved the boys name and wanted to know where I got Madeline from. Her name was Marion, so I explained that I wanted a name with a similar feel. Once she heard that, she was happy and loved the name.

Girl: Lilah Jacquelyn

Boy: Hudson Edward-James

I also love the names Charlotte and June for a girl, but my Fiance doesn’t like either of them aha. These are literally the only two names we could agree on! He wanted Lily, but I felt it was a bit too popular (we know at least 5 people who just named their daughters Lily) and we both really fell in love with Lilah.

We picked Jacquelyn as the middle name for Lilah, becuase my mom and grandma are both Jacqueline and my FI’s mom (who passed away several years ago) was Lynn. It’s a nice combination of three extremely important people. We got Edward-James because my dad’s name is Edward, my brother’s middle name is Edward-James, and my FI’s middle name is James. It’s another meaningful middle name (:

RCH1286:  My neice is Madeleine Kate Rose (Rose is the last name). So pretty. And what a lovely dream:-)

For me? Girl: Colette or Charlotte. My top is Colette and Fiance is Charlotte, but I’d be happy with both.

Boy: Britian. That’s really the only boy name I like…Fiance likes Chet but I’m not a huge fan.

DH has a family tradition of first born being RES….so we will have to think of middle names!
