Well our reception hall doesn’t allow alcohol, even to be brought in by guests and we supposed that was for the best since it’s a VERY small town and there are no hotels to stay at in the area. Both of our families have to commute about an hour to get there so…dry wedding for us!

Therefore, we are focusing on good food and a great DJ who can get people dancing and having a good time without that social lubricant.

After that we are really trying to find someone to record our ceremony and reception and who can edit it nicely. It might be strange, but I’d rather focus on the video than the photos. We have some older people in our family and when they do pass, I’d like to be able to watch our wedding and see our interactions with them.

Anyway, I guess that’s three things. Oops!

#1 priority, making sure my guests have a great time! That’s why I’m focusing on Out of Town bags, pre-wedding parties, catering and alcohol. I really appreciate everyone who will make the trip to attend my Destination Wedding, so I really want them to have a memorable experience.

Top priority for me was the venue which included food/alcohol/valet parking for my guests to be happy and have a good time. Everything else came after but I want my guests to really enjoy it.

same as pp – ensuring the guests enjoy

food, atmosphere, comfort, fun… there isn’t one specific thing that ensures it so everything is important.

My top priorities are photography and food/drink. I want awesome momentos of the day, plus I am such a foodie, so there better be some damn good food.

Our #1 priority is for everyone to have a FUN TIME.  That’s why FOOD and VENUE is so important to me.  Photography comes next, but we’re definitely spending a ton of time and research (and probably money) twds finding the best venue for our destination wedding.  🙂

my number one priority is making sure fiance is happy and excited for the big day.  It’s easy for him to get lost in the planning since my mom is doing a majority of it, so I just want him to love what we’ve planned and be excited and enjoy the day.

Wow thats a tough question because I think there are a few which are so close together.  I think our number one priority were our wedding bands.  These are the symbol of our marriage that we are going to (hopefully) wear for the rest of our lives so we wanted to make 100% sure we got the wedding rings that best suited us, even if it came at a premium (mine is being custom made).  But after that it was the food/wine.  We are foodies, and so are most of our guests and we figured if we are spending that much money on a wedding, we need to honour our guests with one of the best foods they’ve had, with a darn good wine to compliment the meal 😉

Our top priority was being able to share this amazing experience with all our loved ones. And to involve our friends and family as much as possible. And getting through the whole process without going nutso. After that it was having a weding that reflected us – laid back, fun, nerdy, outdoorsy, travel related. Knowing our friends and family we knew we wanted an open bar, so I guess that was important too. We want yummy food and good photography, but they were fairly low priority.
