I consider myself liberal, and very tolerant. I want people to live their lives the way they want as long as they are not hurting others. But, I give huge eye rolls to people who give themselves so many labels: “I’m pansexual, androgynous, gender fluid, transmasculine, vegan, feminist, etc.” It’s like, ok, I get it. You want to stand out and be different, and that’s fine, but not everyone wants to know every single thing about your personal life. It turns a lot of people off.
Also, people who use “nerdy” to stand out. You’re not special if you like to read books, watch anime, or watch documentaries about the Civil War. Many people love those things. Calm down. These are usually the, “I’m not like other girls” girls. It makes me nuts a little bit. You’re not better than other people because you listen to history podcasts and weat t-shirts and jeans. I do these things and don’t rub them in people’s faces.
Last one, I think that once a child starts walking, they shouldn’t be breastfed anymore. You can still pump and give them milk, but I just can’t imagine my child walking up to me and asking, “May I have the boob?” If your child can operate a smart phone and feed themselves, take them off the boob. I know people don’t like this, and I know it’s recommended to nurse at least 2 years, and then as long as both the kid and mom wants, but I would stop earlier. I only nursed my son for 4 months because I contracted an infection, but I believe I would’ve stopped when he started walking and pumped from there. I know back in the day, women breastfed for as long as they wanted with no issue because of the lack of formula.
I htink there’s a different between curvy and fat, but people don’t like to address this.
I don’t get Taylor Swift’s appeal, but I love Beyonce! Lol.
Sorry! I promise I’m not a bad person!
