I consider myself liberal, and very tolerant. I want people to live their lives the way they want as long as they are not hurting others. But, I give huge eye rolls to people who give themselves so many labels: “I’m pansexual, androgynous, gender fluid, transmasculine, vegan, feminist, etc.” It’s like, ok, I get it. You want to stand out and be different, and that’s fine, but not everyone wants to know every single thing about your personal life. It turns a lot of people off.

Also, people who use “nerdy” to stand out. You’re not special if you like to read books, watch anime, or watch documentaries about the Civil War. Many people love those things. Calm down. These are usually the, “I’m not like other girls” girls. It makes me nuts a little bit. You’re not better than other people because you listen to history podcasts and weat t-shirts and jeans. I do these things and don’t rub them in people’s faces.

Last one, I think that once a child starts walking, they shouldn’t be breastfed anymore. You can still pump and give them milk, but I just can’t imagine my child walking up to me and asking, “May I have the boob?” If your child can operate a smart phone and feed themselves, take them off the boob. I know people don’t like this, and I know it’s recommended to nurse at least 2 years, and then as long as both the kid and mom wants, but I would stop earlier. I only nursed my son for 4 months because I contracted an infection, but I believe I would’ve stopped when he started walking and pumped from there. I know back in the day, women breastfed for as long as they wanted with no issue because of the lack of formula.

I htink there’s a different between curvy and fat, but people don’t like to address this.

I don’t get Taylor Swift’s appeal, but I love Beyonce! Lol.

Sorry! I promise I’m not a bad person!

chrissybee :  It’s crazy to think you’re better than someone because you pop open a book or listen to indie music. It really makes me shake my head.

Omg, these women who have kids and suddenly act like they know everything; “talk to me when you have kids.” Relax Becky, you got knocked up and pushed a kid out your wazoo. Literally billions of people have done this and it’s not special. I also think those parent parking spots are dumb. Why do you get a primo space because of your life choice?

People who own pitbulls. Hate them. Why own a dog that can maul you to death. It seems like all they ever do is go out of their way to say how “omg gentle” my dog is.

Also people who own SUVs because most of you mf’ers can’t even manoeuvre them in tight spaces and it’s painful for people like me to watch you struggle in a parking lot. Most people don’t even need vehicles this big anyway and they’re more prone to rollovers so they’re not really as safe as you believe.

natalec :  That “you only have one wedding day”. This really irritates me because outside of the US, government and religious weddings ARE TWO SEPARATE THiNGS for the bazillionth time. The confusion comes I think because in the US, a religious officiant can marry you legally. That is NOT the case in nearly all the countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. You MUST go to the government office first and have a civil ceremony. It is very business like. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Then, on a later date, the couple has a second ceremony (usually religious or can be by a theologist occasionally) in front of family and friends, have on a white dress and tux then dinner and dancing later on. I have asked these couples by the way which one they celebrate as their wedding anniversary and 100% answer is the second ceremony with family and friends. Besides, who the F are you to dictate to the couple which one is their anniversary date?

firesapphire89 :  totally agree on the “I’m not like other girls” thing.

I also hate the whole “introverts are speshul snowflakes” mentality. Like just cause you’re introverted and prefer staying at home with a book to going to a party, does not make you deeper or more interesting than anyone else. You do not need to be treated with kid gloves! (I’m an introvert and all these “how to treat an introvert” memes going around drive me batshit.)

tiffanybruiser :  I’m an introvert & definitely not more interesting than anyone else.  Most of the time I just feel lame compared to everyone else 😂. Avoiding people at parties is really not interesting!  Nor is having to spend all the following day resting!

I have t seen the memes you mentioned but they sound annoying.
